Obviously, a difficult to impossible task for one person! Good team effort.
We accept volunteers!
Looks like my planes, no wings. Great job.
Ha ha! H0ope the wings aren't off too long! Thanks for watching!
What a fun time!!! I can't wait for the next chance to get out to your hangar and get my hands dirty!
Same here! But fly in next time!
@@HangaRatz We are getting so close!!!! I need to get some videos posted..
Thanks!
Thank you so much! It will be put to good use!
Another great video…thanks! What airfield is your house located at? Must be great to have a home at the airport.
Following. Nice to see more progress. It probably doesn’t matter to you but because I just watched Rebuild Rescue I noticed that both you guys use the same music.
Free CZcams music! We've been using that tune for about a year. I hear it on quite a few channels. Sort of catchy. Thanks for watching!
Lots of anti-corrosion on the reassembly please.
Definitely stay tuned. You'll see our standard process! Thanks for watching!
G,day Bill from Sydney Australia.
Could you specify and film the selection and purchase of sheet aluminium (and rivots) for the airframe coverings?
🌏🇦🇺
Will do John!
Dumb Question time.. Would a Drywall Lift work for helping to stabilize the wing?? Lift takes the weight , and then you just need the guys to keep everything balanced.
Its easier to feed mopes BBQ than to rent a lift! Wing is only about 80-100 pounds. Many hands make light work. Great idea though! Thanks for watching!
@@HangaRatz Good Point with the Mopes/BBQ 😅 I've had a couple of friends who've built Kitfoxes and the like, generally solo, and I had always wondered if that would work.
What is the total realistic time for two guys to remove the wings on a flyable plane like this and then properly reinstall them on the same plane so it is flight ready? Looking for all comments on people that have actually done this, thank you for the great videos!
Probably four hours to remove a complete set. And eight hours to install. All with a crew of two.
Since you're taking the landing gear off, why not convert it into a 172T? (T for Taildrager ) 🙂
Money, money, money! Thanks for watching!
