To the new fans of City, this is the kind of stuff we went through. It wasn't all glory and glamour, it was cold nights in Macclesfield, York and Grimsby. We're happy with where we are, but we never forget where we came from.

I was at ewood that day, it was fantastic, and 30 years of magical memories of Maine Road, but the lack of any real quality signings following that game showed the next season, and although those memories will never fade, the atmosphere at Maine Road was miles better than it is now, I wouldn't swap the last 10 years for anything. MCFC CHAMPIONS.

Without a doubt one of the best awaydays I ever had. Massively hungover (my Dad had to drag me out of bed) from the night before and twisted my ankle celebrating the equaliser.
    Blues all over the place.
Straight on the pitch afterwards and straight to the pub after that.
    Happy Days!

I was 17, and it was just an incredible experience. I remember the stewards lining up to stop the pitch invasion at the end, but they gave up trying pretty quickly. I also remember seeing Ian Bishop get caught out by a wave of us, and he was mobbed (he was stripped of his boots, haha). The Blackburn fans were in awe of our super support that day. It was like we were the home team. I wouldn't trade those years of being relegated twice and bouncing back up - it was magical.

thats modern football for ya people keep going onabout safe standing i dont think that has anything to do with it the atmosphere in the premier league being bad is due to the price of tickets and nothing else best atmosphere iv heard at eastlands was against hamburg and i remember they put on cheap tickets for that game to make sure it was full and had a rockin atmosphere and it worked only way the premier league is gonna get the old school atmosphere back is by making football affordable again safe standings great but if the tickets are still expensive it wont change anything

As somebody who hates the new City but genuinely loved the old one, I ask this weird question to those who were there that day.....
What percentage of each stand were City fans?
From TV it looks like the stand to the right 100% City as it's the official away end. The touchline stand opposite the camera looks about 40% and the Blackburn end about 10%.
    That about right?
And what about the stand it's being filmed from?
