- A rare and exclusive look into the underground world of punk music in Cuba. While we were taping in downtown Havana, the police arrested one of our interviewees for reasons unknown. This video is dedicated to him and all the other courageous punks in Cuba who speak out against oppressive conditions, intolerance and attempts to suppress innate freedom of expression.

I was in Cuba in i think 2017 and i met some punks in Trinidad (not the island, the city in cuba) and they gave me some cuban punkrock and hardcore. I had the e-mail adress of one of them but sadly he dont answer me, i wanted to send them some german and other european punkrock after my mp3 player fucked up when they gave me their music (they could give me their music but it didnt transmitted my music to their computer). I hope i'm going to cuba again some day and can bring them the music like i promissed it, so i would rather bring some cd's or lp's
As a Miami punk descendant from cuban parents . I have to show some love for the truth and proud that people stand up against the system.

@@PunkOutlawTV It is a terrible omen though. Russian Punkrockers were, as we all know, a prominent part of the struggle for freedom that the Russian people tried to gain at the end of the Soviet Union. That could, as we also know, not have failed worse than it did.
I truly hope for a better fate for Cuba but I am not optimistic. Freedom is a very difficult thing to gain and keep. People like you usually fail.
