HANABIE is awesome live. I saw 2 of their shows last year and will be seeing them again in Oct. I think you might like this band (DRAGDOWN) and their song DIRGE. 🤘
Saw them live for the first time yesterday in Copenhagen, Denmark. And it is probably one of the greatest concert experiences of my 50+ life. The songs were adapted to live performances and they were fantastic at getting the audience involved. Still smiling about the experience the next day :)
Oh you are gonna have a blast seeing them live! I saw them last Month on a big 3 Day Festival in Germany, they played on the smallest Stage there, in a small Hall and it was the frickin best Concert of the whole Weekend! I saw Babymetal there (love them too!) Corey Taylor was there, Green Day and so on, but no one compared to them! They wrecked the Hall and everybody in it!
Cool band. You need to check out Maximum the Hormone. Hanabie is heavily influenced by MTH (They started out doing covers). MTH has similar genre flips, tine changes and heavy riffs, all in an organized chaos song structure. They are very influential and popular in Japan. Check out their recent videos from Bologna, Italy concert (Cell ph videps). The young ladies were on fire.
There's a video you can watch on how to pronounce their name. It's fun to watch regardless! I dont think I'll ever get sick over watching this video! It's the best intro to Hanabie MV because of the false sense of security in the intro. "Suga, suga, suga, neva eva......" Then bam! Rip your face off!😂
Last night in Hamburg it was hell on Earth in the best way possible lol Except for the heat itself - I don't think I've ever been so hot in my entire life. 1000 people (sold out venue), nonstop moshpit... it went from like 25C during the opening act to sth like 55 or more by the end Especially the last 20 or so minutes the heat was lethal. Yukina and Hettsu kept pouring water on the crowd from the stage between songs, but yeah... I had to pull out to the back during the encore chant cause I just knew that when they come back they are gonna drop some hardcore punk insanity and running a circle pit would likely have killed me right there and then xD Saw Hanabie three times this tour - not nearly enough :( I don't think it will ever be enough tbh - this damn band is more addictive than crack cocaine... Fingers crossed you get a good sound at your venue, cause it can vary a lot - Copenhagen was decidedly worse than Hamburg, while Bologna was somewhere in the middle - and their music is so sonically busy it just needs a proper sound mix to be truly appreciated. Check out Otaku Lovely Densetsu next maybe? It's a vibe ;)
We were really grateful for the water, first from Hettsu and later a larger amount from Yukina and Hettsu. It's probably becoming a habit that Hanabie concerts are hotter than hell. That was already the case in Berlin and Frankfurt last year.
If you see Hanabie live and you're right in the middle of the action, be prepared to be completely sweaty after the concert. Take a change of T-shirt with you or, better yet, buy one at the merch sale. We were very happy not to smell like sweat at the afterparty after the concert, even though we were completely sweaty beforehand.
@@SolitudeSorrowMusiche is preaching the truth, saw them last fall in Des Moines, Yukina like to stage dive and crowd surf and she is so small. I helped lift her on stage she maybe weigh 85-90, stands 4’9”, but she is a fierce performer.
Hanabie won't let you down. You can even pick the audio only tracks available on CZcams and be bowled over by the quality of the song. You are so lucky to be seeing Hanabie. I hope it is a small venue rather than a festival appearance.

Have tickets to see Hanabie in Houston in October with Born of Osiris and Jinjer. Also have tickets to see Lovebites in Dallas in September. Life has been good to me the past couple of years :0) . They are playing in Australia in November and I can't wait to see them again.
Seen them in Connecticut. Most fun show I've ever been to. Their energy is off the charts! You're gonna have a blast.
