These are designed for these sites or companies where it is becoming more stricter for its users to use the side handle etc so thats why there is the additional safety switch. There are more and more companies making these as these customers will no longer buy anything else. But if your not fussed the stick with the old one
Milwaukee grinders are the dogs, I’m a no handle man myself 😂
100%
H n S in the UK will love it. I personally don’t like it, I don’t use a handle very often. Really do like the quick stop feature, that’s great.
Nice ! Definatly suited to my kind of work. With a lot of numpties that will kill them selves 🤣 and health and safety being strict of course
Speak for yourself mate 😂 Anyway, I thought you lot used Black and Decker…
@@MachineryNation 🤣🤣 oh yeah and my trusty wickes own brand cordless range 👊🏻
good vid ill stick to my old m18 grinder thanks
I love milwaukee stuff and have just started adding to my tool box. I've used the tools for a while now and everyday at work as they've just sponsored Virgin Atlantic.
So for the farmer side of me it’s always no handle but for my earn some money job for a large corporation this is perfect, the amount of times I get told to use the handle this would definitely stop the bollockings!
Love the auto stop double trigger will probably drive me nuts
Agreed 👍🏼
I personally really like the two switch system idea, but not the specific order you would have to use them in.
👍
100% thanks Jason 👍🏼
I think the extra switches are good safety features but personally I prefer the classic on/off switch
Even wears a black and red top. Dedication at its finest.
😂😂
Hi James right tool for the right job 2 handed operation not shore about that I prefer a on off switch over a paddle Thanks again
Thanks Darran 👍🏼
I prefer the older one you can take the handle off for tight spaces.
Defo an advantage
Contrary to Milwaukee tools Marmite still works after two years.
One of my customers gave up on Milwaukee after the armature caught fire on his grinder on its first use, shop wanted to replace it he said not a chance and bought a Bosch set.
Bet he regrets doing that… 😂
Like the handle movement. Thats a good idea. Suppose the health and safety police would like the 2 handed starting, good idea but should be like a hedge trimmer, if the handles being held it is always going to run, having to release and grip all the time would be a pain to start with but its not too much an issue imo
100% Although it also annoys me on hedge trimmers. Petrol mes never had it.
I am a joiner and like you I LOVE my Milwaukee tools and packouts 😊and like you sir l have a lot my dear wife & daughter tell me l have too much NO way 😂yes I like the new grinder but like you said I wish you could release the Handel switch after you have switched it on yes I do think two hands on the grinder is good l don’t think the key switch you have for your phone is good l can’t see how this is a advantage but I will have to subscribe to your channel 👍
As long as they won' t have x-lock they would be behind Bosch for grinders.
Have you tried to put a diamond disc and stopped the machine ten times with a standard jobsite tightning force ?
I can’t remember ever loosing tension on a Milwaukee grinder to date, but I do like the Bosch x-lock.
I want that shed and contents.
If i wasnt so heavily invested in the Makita lxt range, I'd definitely be interested in Milwaukee
Nice mate 👍🏼
Can you get the case in red separately?
Well, I guess some sites will require it now it’s here: saw one in a large contractors yard the other day.
They missed the real opportunity, what about the safety guard? Should be a switch on that too😂
Shhhh don’t give them bad ideas 😂😂
I have milwaukee 4.5 inch and bosch milwaukee is amazing
what??
I like the idea of that safety device on the grip, all new hedgecutters seem to come with that as well though I'm not sure about having to activate it in sequence every time like that, I can imagine that getting annoying after a while but I suppose there's a good reason for it to be that way.
I’m not a fan of it on hedge trimmers either, petrol trimmers never had it.
I'm sure the reason you have to release and re-press the side switch each time is to keep folks from using tape or a hose clamp to hold the switch down so you could use it one-handed.
@@russellschmidt8190 yes 100%, my point is why the side handle first, why not either first?
I like the adjustability of that handle, but the handle button sequence thing is probably going to keep me from buying it.
Absolutely love marmite hate milwaki 😂😂😂😂😂
I'll stick with the original, which I love
I can only presume they will carry on making the ones we are all use to.
What is the number of your old one that you prefer
😊
Where I need that handle is in the box.
😂😂
I'm looking at buying these for the guys who work for me, too many close calls and poor grinder usage.
Also the way the switches work is by design, If it wasn't that way people would by-pass the handle with rubber bands or similar.
If the trigger wasn’t a combination folk would simply just tape up the handle triggers and render the whole idea a bit pointless.
The handle multi position is class but I’ve no interest in the 2 handed operation a bit ott.
I don’t disagree with the button, just the fact that you can’t press them the other way around 😂
@@MachineryNation I guess that’s so it’s more assured that the operator has full control and holding the tool correctly. I’ll bet this was for shore a discussion they had during development. It’s got its place where employers need to reduce liability and keep insurance premiums down.
Just another restriction in our restricted country.
I don’t think the standard ones we know and love will be disappearing anytime soon.
I may have misunderstood but did you say you were a femboy?? 🤣🤣
I like that grinder, the handle is really convenient it appears. 👍
I may well of said that, hopefully others didn’t notice 😂
🤣😲 I won't say a word. 🤣
New handle is a faff
As a Milwaukie fan myself I think its a bit gimmicky and more to break.
I guess so, but it is blooming made well.
Lol I don't want to play Bop-It to use a tool
Bluetooth in tools is a no no.
Shit idea but nice handy movement.
Milwaukee forcing health and safety on you!
Won't be able to quickly take off some burrs on the end of a bit of pipe now.
I'll stick to my old one thanks.
nope
I am a Milwaukee fan aswel. But this thing is just stupid.
Cordless tools are great, but they aint half helping thieving bastards steal bikes, never mind thieving the tools themselves
Seem annoying
