When I discovered, that I am ace it was such a niche thing, that the ace colours almost felt like a secret handshake. I love that awareness has spread far enough now for people to use and acknowledge them outside of the context of coming out as ace.
And they go really well with the Caduceus tea.
Anyway, that pocket turned out great. I might need to put one on my projects list.
I agree, though the first time I put them all together in an outfit on the channel I WAS coming out as ace, at least online

Great job! I cheated i had an old golf skirt i had bought in a charity shop that was my gardening skirt. It finally died so i cut all the pockets off, attached them to the waistband and added a buckle like yours. And i had four pockets on a belt.

what a fun video! i bought a pair of relatively inexpensive 18th century pockets for my double-circle mexican folk skirt with pocket slits, which i wear dancing, and i can honestly say that there is nothing more functional than ginormous, easily accessed 18th century pockets. i love how your pocket turned out--the belt and its hardware are *genius*--and the smocked apron is so lovely it leaves me gobsmacked!!

Love the idea of the sewing pocket. I've been using a small basket for my stuff. That said, I foresee a pocket in my future. I know that my garden apron has been a really useful item.

Excellent. I love it. There's a pattern for a utility pocket on Etsy that I bought and made for a friend's birthday. One suggestion if I may. That pocket has a holster in which to put the scissors to keep the points from poking through the bottom of the pocket. I used some heavy duty muslin from my cabbage and it seems to be holding up. I made sure to whipstitch the edge of the holster to the edge of the pocket so it wouldn't slip out with the scissors. Just an idea.

If you're even a little bit into sci fi, you should read Ann Leckies Imperial Radch trilogy, in order to learn how to subtly express emotions (read: convey your disdain) via china choices.
(It's a freaking awesome series, set in a society where gender is construed very differently, so there are NO CISHET MEN in the cast of characters. At all. Because CisHet is a concept that doesn't exist in that universe.
Also, the main character is ace and definitely neurodivergent.
I think I should go and reread the series now, I just reminded myself of how awesome it was.)

It opens into a bigger pocket. My phone technically fits into one of the outside pockets but it’s tight, so I put it into the bigger inside one.
