Ardun Heads? I have heard of them but, never seen them ( even on video, it’s my first time). But, it basically turns the Flathead into an OHV Hemi, doesn’t it? If that is the case, is it still a flathead?

This is the debate in racing circles. Typically, they categorize engines based on their block. Guys in the 5.0 outlaw drag race class bore and stroke their engines out to 7 liters but, because the block is cast as a 5.0 block… it is allowed.
Your flathead guys either love or hate the Ardun Conversions for the exact reasons we are talking about.

Correct, it makes it an OHV Hemi. So its not a flat head any more.
