- During the After Show, Summer House star Kyle Cooke discusses Craig Conover investing in a competing alcohol brand, saying the founder took him out to dinner, failed to mention Craig’s deal and milked him for information. He calls the operation shady, thinks Craig had already signed the deal before confronting him about it and says Craig claimed he didn’t know Loverboy had a spritz line.

So because Kyle knows , Craig, all of a sudden Craig has to turn down opportunities? It’s not like they are good friends. Craig doesn’t respect Kyle at all. He’s an entirely separate human being and has no ties to lover boy.
And Craig went out to dinner with Kyle and told him about spritzer’s offer and said to Kyle “I won’t invest in spritzer if I can invest in loverboy” and Kyle turned that down!! So Kyle KNEW Craig was going to invest in spritzer… I also think Kyle calling Craig a liar is rotten and untrue. I bet Amanda is FURIOUS with Kyle!! Paige is Amanda’s best friend!!

@@joshknutson16 I think there's more to the situation because Kyle said the founder took him out to dinner. Why do you go to dinner with a competitor? Was Kyle hoping for some kind of collaboration himself and was disappointed they went with Craig instead? I don't know. Kyle also said the company was not a rivalry because it was so small. I just want to hear Craig's side.
I would never believe anything Kyle said about anything. I began to FF when he comes on cause all he does is whine, play blame games, throw temper tantrums and get drunk and run around naked and everything is Amanda's fault plus he will lie and twist the truth and instigate what someone says about someone with his own cast mates. Sounds like Kyle's investors may have ousted Kyle or Kyle said on the show he was going under and owed a couple million he borrowed.
There is more they spoke about it and clarified the timeline on the toast Craig asked Kyle if he could invest in Loverboy first
Now that shots are fired, we need Hannah and Lindsay to come out an EXPOSE Kyle's tactics of pushing out anybody who even attempts to do anything with a drink. This is another layer of why Lindsay was against Carl's involvement. Kyle is a shady, unfriendly, unkind, immature business owner. TEAM CRAIG

Kyle's answer to the Jesse/Amanda left a bad taste in my mouth. He's basically not even paying attention to his wife at all, to the point where she is carrying on a very explicit flirtation with another man, and he's refusing to give it any amount of his attention.
Then he ends by sort of bragging about how his "wife is hot." It just rubs me the wrong way... There's something entitled about the way he assumes he possesses her, doesn't bother paying attention to her, and doesn't make her happy or treat her right.
Really should have insisted on the prenup.😢
Kyle is talking in circles here, and contradicting himself all in the same sentence. I read that Loverboy does not take investors, so if Craig wants to invest (financially or by promoting) in another company, Kyle should have no objection. Kyle has reaped the benefit of free advertisement on Summer House for years. If it were not for that I doubt any business with the name "Loverboy" would have ever taken off. Cringe AF

@@saraw112 I did, that's what made me agree with Kyle, before that I was neutral. They ( Claudia ) misheard Kyle and has receipts, timeline, proof.... on something Kyle never said.... She said he said, the day before however if you watch this clip that's not what he said. Claudia heard the day before the deal was announced Ben took him out to dinner, Kyle actually said DAYS before they inked the deal. Those are two very different things. So half of their ( the toasts ) argument is based on things that were misheard and they had notes that were inaccurate. They also said he robs his caste mates, UMMMMM he obviously has a deal with bravo to showcase lover boy, and they are being compensated by bravo for being on the show. They could have this deal with another company and the caste would have to promote it.... so they are being compensated he's not robbing anyone. Bravo is not making the cast do adds for, they're showing positive things they are saying about the product. Trust me I hate that I'm on Kyle's side with this, I don't even like him. I love the toast, I watch everyday I went to the dirty jean tour I'm a toaster, but the fact that they got so much wrong made me not like them in this fight.
@@asiff098 Kyle lost me when he said “Craig has a reputation for lying and he lied to me”… that’s slander and I don’t believe Kyle. I also thought what was more to the point (as opposed to day vs days) was that Craig didn’t make the deal with Ben until he talked to Kyle about it AND gave Kyle an opportunity to allow Craig to invest… it’s kyle’s prerogative to turn Craig down but then he also can’t complain when Craig takes Ben up on the opportunity to invest in his company. I’m sure Kyle is regretting saying that about Craig and I bet they make up… I’m sure Amanda is FURIOUS since Paige and she are such good friends. It will be interesting to hear Craig, Amanda and Paige all speak about it. They all seem like decent people and I bet they make up. My two cents 😊
@@saraw112 Slander? Do you watch Southern Charm, Craig was caught lying constantly the first few season he was on the show and admitted he has an issue with lying to people... He 100% has a reputation for lying. I don't believe for one second that Craig told Kyle the real deal or full story. I think that's why he's upset and hurt. What Claudia said about the conversation between Craig and Kyle, was her version, of a second hand version of what Craig told someone. ( It's so confusing to write, hope that makes sense. ) After she botched the Day and Days thing, and inked / announced I don't trust that she's retelling this conversation correctly. Also if that's not the way Kyle's company is set up it would probably be a lot of work and reconfiguring to create an opportunity for investors. However I think he's doing things differently with the non-alcoholic line because he offer Carl Equity 10% in it, and that was filmed last August before any of this happened. From what Kyle has said here, and how Claudia respond I see a lot more misinformation coming from the toast. That doesn't make the toast bad, or unethical, it just means they're wrong about this and misheard things. Anyway I hope you have a good weekend.
@@asiff098 hi, I have watched most, if not all, of southern charm over the years. The only half-truth I vaguely recall had to do with his taking the bar exam… I don’t remember the details but there was something he wasn’t being full upfront about (I think) but I don’t remember any other dishonesty. (Austin and Shep are another story… sleezy!!) I’ve always thought of Craig as being a standup guy… maybe his adorable looks make me forget any bad traits!?! 😂 Anyway, I do like all 4 of those people (Kyle, Craig, Amanda and Paige) and don’t think they would purposely deceive or rip off the other. I think Kyle maybe is feeling upset about his competition (Spritz) getting an endorsement or money from Craig when he didn’t… but hopefully he can write it off as “business”… besides, friends shouldn’t be in business together… it ruins friendships. What’s your opinion on Kyle and Amanda as a couple? Do you think they’ll stay together? I thought they were a forever couple but lately I’ve been hearing rumblings… anyway, hope you have a good weekend too! 😊
It may come across that he is jealous of Craig and perhaps he is. Kyle has worked incredibly hard on his brand for years as he watches his friend handed an opportunity to rival Kyle's products. If we are honest I bet any of us would feel a little envious of the circumstances. I am not saying it is right but I can understand Kyle's feelings.

Craig got tons of handouts and help. He was super lazy starting his career and has other ppl in charge. Kyle started this from bottom up on his own and with a small team to collaborate.. don’t think it’s the same. Craig was so entitled when starting the pillow company and took advantage of Pats help

Besides Kyle was on the show bawling his eyes out and throwing fits at his wife cause he said his business was going under and he owed 2 or 3 million he borrowed when she wanted to no longer work for him. When Craig visited on the show He set Kyle straight about his relationship with Paige when Kyle questioned him then he goes to the cast mates and tweaked to the negative what Craig said.
