Tom Harmon and Elyse Knox in the mid-episode commercial are the parents of actor Mark Harmon and the grandparents of Gunnar and Matthew Nelson from the band Nelson.
Also, it's wise to smoke extra mild Fatima. 🚬☠️
Note: The Grandfather Tom Harmon was also an All American and Heisman Trophy winner at Michigan 🏈

With that and the small talk, repeating lines, and wrong department phone calls, Dragnet could squeeze 20 minutes of show with 10 minutes of content :) Brillant actually...

RebelRob34, at the time these were made, smoking was portrayed as the cool thing to do. Everybody smoked because nobody knew then what we know now..
I like them because they give you the full flavour of the times, so different from ours. I don't smoke, incidentally, & never have. 🚬
