I saw this video on TV when I was 7 years old (I'm 37). For years and years I tried searching for the song with what I had on my memory, with no luck. Until I thought "singing" it to the Google Assistant. And finally I found it! Imagine 30 years searching for a song that touched your heart when you were just 7 years old.
although I'm 15 years younger than you, I know exactly what you mean. Quite amazing what google's algorithms can make out from the faintest resemblance off an old memory.

Ignore me?, VHS tapes were another aspect of our childhood. In that times music was exclusive and not easy available and VHS tapes were here to record and save our favorite songs and videos.
These guys had so much fun. I grew up listening to this kind of stuff and wish it was still how music was made today. I know, I'm 45 and today's chart stuff isn't aimed at people my age but these were great days for music and Pet Shop Boys were one of my favourites. Happy days when there was NO grey in my hair and a LOT less of me around the waist. :)

I stumbled the MTV channel, that night they host 90's hit collection and i stumbled to this music
I didn't pay attention to the music name, because i was so tired but this banger is playing. Until i fell asleep.
I google'd the things that i saw on the MV: Statue of liberty, Statue of social relism, walking down in Red square, army choir, blue and yellow mushroom costume, stairway in the sky, communism music, hammer and sickle, red star
I even tried humming the melody but nothing worked
You have no idea how long that i've been scavenging through old 90'S music on the internet just to find this specific mv that i don"t even know the name yet, i kept playing random song from 90's music playlist made by someone, and FINALLY after the music number 450 out of 600 i finally found it, it's exactly as i saw on the MV that i watched that time
I'm so glad that i get a chance to listen to this masterpiece, i thought i was gonna lost and forget about it forever, this masterpiece is so beautiful and definitely going to my 90's music collection
