3 Supreme Court Justices Now Live in a Gun Free Zone after Maryland County Passes Conceal Carry Ban

- A new gun control law just passed in Montgomery County, MD that denies the Second Amendment right of permit holders to bear arms “in or near places of public assembly"-- which is essentially everywhere. In this video, I explain how three Supreme Court Justices who ruled in June that this kind of law is unconstitutional live in Montgomery County and now are subject to this gun free zone outside Washington, DC.
I interview Mark Pennak, the president of @MarylandShallIssue , about how this law affects people and their other court cases challenging the so-called assault weapon ban. At the end of the video, I give my analysis of what will happen to the gun control laws that have been passed since the Supreme Court ruling.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Justice Neil Gorshuch all voted in the Bruen decision that the right to carry guns outside the home is guaranteed by the Second Amendment.

Why did the Commissioners pass this Law ?
SIMPLE:
They knew no one could OBEY this law if they took a gun outside of their home.
In other words, the Commissioners passed this Law to ENSNARE and ENTRAP - just Law Abiding gun owners.
Meanwhile, criminals will get a "slap on the hand" and be given "plea bargains" for the Felony crimes they commit !
How can a person leave their home and go to the gun store and buy a gun and then go back home without breaking this law ?

Once a person has been arrested, the Police will then use Red Flag laws to confiscate ALL of their other guns in their home.
Once a person has just an arrest for a gun crime, that person can no longer LEGALLY buy a gun. Until that arrest has been
expunged from their FBI Criminal Record. Unless your name is Hunter Biden and your dad is the "Big guy".
Thus, Courts will slow walk cases like this so that people who HAVE been arrested will have to spend $1000's in legal fee's
to fight their arrest, get their guns back and then FIGHT to overturn bad gun laws like these. Who wants to bet that at least
one SCOTUS Justice packs "heat" everywhere they go ?

The ONLY answer to stop this is a Constitutional amendment that is life in prison to any government agent, elected or otherwise, for violating ANY citizen's Constitutional rights. To a certain extent the justices deserve this, not that they particularly care. They should have overturned Scalia's ridiculous "sensitive places" dicta from Heller, which is the only part of Heller that the Left seems to remember, and list only those places that could be deemed sensitive, courthouses, prisons, inside buildings on military bases. Period. But no, the only part of Heller that will be expanded by the judiciary is the number of "sensitive places" until they consist of everyplace except inside a person's home.
Ed, You make such a good point that the sensitive places did not need to be kept from Heller , and it gives the gun control politicians a hook to hang these new laws. I need to look into that part of the Bruen decision to see if there was an historical law for their list of places but perhaps they needed to include it to get all the justices on board for Bruen. It really is an unnecessary debate because legal permit holders are not the problem in any location.

The entire premise of this discussion is that the US Constitution is the law of the land. I had a discussion on another channel and many don’t realize that basic fact. Obviously schools aren’t teaching what they should be.
Article VI, Paragraph 2 of the U.S. Constitution is commonly referred to as the Supremacy Clause. It establishes that the federal constitution, and federal law generally, take precedence over state laws, and even state constitutions.
The Tenth Amendment states the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Therefore the United States Constitution is above all others and only things not laid out in the document can be controlled by the states, “or to the people.”
The law abiding citizens have allowed numerous overreaches because they do not understand the above points.
States and jurisdictions can have any law they want if it doesn’t conflict with the constitution. This law will have to be challenged in court.
@@Emily.Miller Yep, that’s the purpose of the tenth amendment. Otherwise if it’s a constitutional right it’s supposed to be hands off at the federal, state, local and municipal levels.

The state can’t change the local laws but as Mark explained, it will happen on courts.

I ask because: say a person is on Death Row and is to be executed.
Their lawyer appeals to the SCOTUS & the SCOTUS issues a "Stay" & the state has to STOP immediately the Execution, based solely on what the SCOTUS ruled & said.
