To make Zira's death even more dark, in the originally planned ending she actually let go thus killing herself.
Because she couldn't accept that her son siding with Simba and just went like welp I might as well yeet myself off a literal cliff into the water
Considering that Zira was originally meant to deliberately let go to the cliff before Disney decided that the concept of suicide would be unsuitable for children **which makes no sense because children need to learn about these things especially if they loose someone to suicide** Zira's fate should've gotten the top spot.
or at least tie first place with Morgana's defeat.

What makes Morgana's fate the most disturbing is that she's clearly STILL ALIVE while sinking into the depths, trapped in that block of ice, doomed to eternal imprisonment in which she will probably be driven insane from the darkness and isolation... really sticks with you after the film's over. I guess the message is, you do NOT mess with Triton's family!!!

You forget for Zira it’s even more painful as I doubt the fall killed her because we’ve seen lions survive higher falls and not even in water but on rocks however with zira she was probably injured and slowly drowned while trying to prevent her death so it’s a slow and painful way to die

also likely crushed(in a poetic way just like her son nuka as i took that being the same log dam where he died,a mother/son dying the same fate.) from the logs in the flood & even more darker the original scene of her choosing to fall to her death(which is still present with how she's smiling as she falls in the final.)than be saved by kiara.(actually looking back it's like a disney version of geese howard's death in fatal fury if zira was laughing as she fell)
In a deleted scene zira took her own life by letting go rather than get saved by simba's daughter her final words were "no never". Awww no nuka.
Nuka should definitely have gotten a mention. Can't feel good getting crushed like that.

If you didnt know Zira actually flinged herself off the mountain cause she is smiling as according to someone who made a post about cartoon suicides in DeviantART there is a deleted version of Ziras death
And her last words were: "No; Never." She said that after Kiara offered to help her get to safety.
Some of the villains in the Disney movie sequels are very incredible. Just like the original Disney villains.

The villains from the original movies who appeared in the sequels would get more satisfying punishments like the Hyenas in “The Lion King 1 1/2”, Shere Khan in “The Jungle Book 2”, Jafar in “The Return of Jafar”, etc.! They should be included on the list!
I definitely appreciate how several returning villains got proper defeats in sequels. Even as a kid, Shere Khan and Cruella De Vill's fates in the sequels were way more satisfying than before and didn't leave things hanging.

Technically, Jafar should get an honorable mention on this list. He was the big villain of the 2nd Aladdin movie.
He's from a Canon movie at first, so I guess that he doesn’t count for this list.

Actually, the Ralph clones were Arthur, and he was the one pulling the Ralphzilla’s strings. He accepts his fate of getting deleted off the internet in the end.

Zara’s death Should’ve been in a Homage to Mufasa’s death, But nonetheless her death was pretty decent
Even though you forgot some villains this is still a good ranking.
One thing that makes Zira's initially intended fate even darker is that she actually chose death over surrender. She'd sooner die than accept peace.

No, I personally think her placement is warranted. Sure there's a big possibility that she could've died there but there's always a possibility she could've survived that. Not unscathed obviously but still alive.
The asylums at that time were worst than death. One word Electric Shock Therapy
It is only portrayed as a horrible thing these days, but I must point out that my grandmother who was hospitalized back in the '50s was helped by electric shocks.
She was "only" suffering from a depression and wasn't insane though, but still.
As much as many asylum inmates were treated awfully in the past, some were actually able to get some help and return to the world outside (relatively) unharmed.

Plus I found Sa’Luk’s death more terrifying than Forte’s when I saw them as a kid. That scream he yelled as he turned to gold was chill-to-the-bone scary! Plus the pain of turning to gold has to be worse than falling and breaking yourself from weight. I will still at at least say: the impact of Forte’s death on the Beast was definitely better though.

These Sequel Disney Villains have such interesting fates worse than death. Although I think Morgana's and Zira's fates are very brutal and even worse than death especially since they are both drowning to their demise.😬😨
I really like the old Goofy movies, some sequels are much better than their prequels, but there are other movies where the sequels are much worse.

I think out of all of the Disney sequel death I think Zira from The Lion King 2 had the most painless death I mean granted drowning to death is pretty bad but that was her decision to make she had the choice to live with Simba or die but of course her grudge against Simba took over and she ended up choosing death

Geez, Anna and Elsa‘s grandfather is as bad as Anna’s ex-boyfriend. We all know their grandfather made a lot of bad choices, but that doesn’t mean they have to and neither does their father. Imagine Anna and Elsa‘s parents and grandmother up in heaven along with God being very upset when they found out what the king’s father did.
