@@joem6873 I agree. Of course, I knew who he was, but had never really seen him in action. I was watching the documentary about Woodstock 99 and saw the performance by him and his group. I'm 63 years old and was drawn in and captivated. I've since watched it over and over.
Drummer is kicking the shit out of those drums. She's on fire with that double kick!! Great introduction! Lot's of enthusiasm and energy that's off of the charts!
I so agree. That drummer drew me in and captivated me. I'm 63 and would not have even known about them if I hadn't watched the Woodstock documentary. I have since watched that performance over and over. You are so right about the energy and enthusiasm.
I'm in my 50's and cannot think of a better live intro. The only possible "downside" was that the music was lip-synced, and I'm thinking that is an "upside" because it made the audio so perfect with all the dancing and jumping around. So good, I am amazed.
OMG! Totally agree. They were all feelin it. That drummer was into it... so damned good. The energy truly is infectious. I'm 63 and was watching videos to get sleepy. Ain't sleepy now.
Yup! Sure was! I remember. Those were the days too. The good ol days! Now days the world is going to hell and its very sad to watch. As I look back on the 90's, it really makes you think how it was a great time to be alive. I think we didn't realize how good we had it too. I'd give anything, and would give up all the great technology we have today just to live back in the 90's again.
Kid Rocks breakout album Devil Without a Cause was recorded at the same time, and same studio as Eminem’s The Slim Shady LP. It was definitely an interesting time for music. I really wasn’t into Kid Rock or Eminem at the time, and I’m still not really into them, but there impacted on music going forward was definitely worth observing. There was lots of energy in this performance. The drummer is killing it.
First saw Kid Rock and this entire band for the first time perform in 1996 at The Palladium on Gratiot Ave in Detroit, Michigan. There was 10 people in the whole audience. That was way better then this concert.
I find myself watching this at least once a month for a trip down memory lane from a time when music was at its best and concerts were better than ever. Damn do I miss the 90’s.
Yes it was. We all lived on a different planet back then. If Doc Brown really did travel time, I know why he didn't spill the beans. Half the people would have comitted suicude and the other half would have left.
I mean I guess. I was actually at this festival, summer before senior year. I remember the music at that time being pretty shit. NuMetal and rap rock was really taking off. All in all the late 90s were pretty shit compared to the late 60s or 70s. High quality hydroponic marijuana was becoming the norm though, so that was pretty great.
I’m a 67 year old woman but every time I hear the intro to this song my head automatically starts banging and I’m ready to “Get in the pits and try to love someone!”
Her name is Stephanie Eulinberg, and I believe she's still Kid Rock's drummer. She's been his drummer for going on 34 years, and she's still going strong! I'd like to tell her to keep on rocking.
Yeah no. If you knew anything about playing percussions, you would know she's terrible (for a professional.) Kid Rock took a lot of heat for being racist and misogynist, so he asked a female to be in his band - to be more relatable. Only reason she stuck around so long is because of the backlash it would cause - "you fired a female?!?!?!" "How dare you!!" Pathetic.
I love that the drummer doesnt fit even one stereotypical mold type thing about her yet she just kills it with total passion none the less.... such a good vibe, no need to fit in or conform, just loves her music.
I like that about her, too, and damn, did she draw me in and captivate me. She was fun to watch - the hair, the look on her face, the 7-Eleven shirt, etc. She really had energy.
That drum solo at 2:35 didn't just give me goosebumps, it made me cry it was so perfect. Big up to you sister! Showing the boys how it's done. How it's truly done!!

There’s needs to be a documentary on specifically THIS performance 😮💨🔥
This song was the jam back in the day. Our hockey dressing room was lit before every game!
kinda got our grass crew going to, and bullgod for lyrics , before i cut i go behind the garage and fire it up, and that being said , stay in school kids , and as Mrs. Reagan said back in the 80s "just say no!! " that meant drugs and politics , i think

@Roger Smith aww that's so kind of you to say. Thank you! Made my day. ❤
This had to've been the best performance at Woodstock '99... They were going crazy af
This song still gets me ready to kick doors in.
I dont care what my friends say, this is incredible.
Hello are you one of my special true music fan?
F*ck your friends
I swear I had a twenty in my pocket when I started watching this.

Hello are you one of my special true music fan?
Not no mo...da ghosts of skynyrd got it
I'm not really a kid rock fan but that performance and drummer were pretty freaking cool.
First concert I went to w/o mom or dad. Buckcherry, Fuel and Kid Rock at the Bi-Lo center in Greenville, SC. Didn’t have tickets but got lucky. One of the funnest concerts ever.
Middle aged dad here. I hadnt changed my furnace filters in about 5 months and figured since it was getting colder, I better head down to the hardware store and pick some up.I was not really feeling up to it but then I remembered this song from my youth. I put it on and was done in 2 shakes of a lambs tail. Thanks Kid Rock
Lol this is a good meme
Yes my man
Hell YEAH Stephanie. Straight outta 7-11!
Stephanie scares me !!
I was about to say same thing about she wearing 7-11 shirt
One of the greatest entrance I have ever seen 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I met that drummer chick at Deja Vu in Saginaw back in the late 90's. She's the coolest man. So talented too!
I'm trying to figure out why this isn't played at every Super Bowl halftime show
Riots would ensue and the establishment would collapse
They actually played on the Super Bowl Halftime Show
Because this song and Kid Rock sucks!
@@animalize7885 I understand your opinion but I'd delete this comment before a riot if angry fans unleashes on you.

I saw this Live... and Lived through Kid Rock destroying the late 90's and 2000's... no band was better, tighter and had more energy. What a mfn time.... need to bring it back.
the ammount of energy when Kid Rock enters, wow!
Energy and Tension !
back when everyone wanted to have fun. now everyone wants to be offended and special
CZcams keeps recommending this, and I can't say no.
The young people of yesteryear were so much cooler than today.
No shit lol
Amy not very cool of you
@@wwe52891 I was agreeing with him. I WAS the "younger people of yesteryear", my dear.
yeah I hate my offended generation
Yes we were.
That band is incredible. Both guitarists and that drummer, bloody hell!
Wow Stephanie the drummer is a beast 🥁
Stephanie’s a beast on them drums 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
Hello are you one of my special true music fan?

Stefanie Eulinberg
Stephanie - the drummer, simply awesome! Joyous performance!
I'd hit it
Stefanie Eulinberg i think was and is one of the most underrated drummers. Shes fkin fire 🔥
God I miss 90's concerts.
2021. Still brings a tear to my eye. Legendary.
Legendary
2024 and THE SAME DAMN DEAL
MUCH LOVE
I still get chills 22 years later. I remember exactly where I was what I was doing the day I heard this for the first time. For all those that loved Kid and Papa and Bizkit and so on... this song was the first. We never heard anything like this before.
The best time my friend
I'm just seeing/hearing this for the first time now (saw it on Netflix documentary and then on CZcams). I'm 63 years old and totally missed out on this kind of music because of my lifestyle at the time it was made. This performance is absolutely electrifying and mesmerizing. All involved (Kid Rock, drummer, guitarists, etc.) were really into it. I have watched it over and over.
@@billsmith7673 I'm 55. I have seen kid rock live 3 times over the last 24 years. Just freaking go, he does not disappoint. Thank me later
@@jamesbarrick3403 Will do!
Good point, Papa was in the same "zip code" as Kid Rock musically. Both are great.
I like the 7-Eleven uniform on the drummer.
This man had crazy stage presence on him. Dude was an absolute fucking rock star.
Kid Rock bought my friend and a ton of people's food at White Castle after a show. Seems like a cool dude!
I heard he stopped by one or more strip clubs in Detroit to get a few women to dance on stage at the show.
Supposedly he only charges $20 for his shows
This 1 still gets cranked when it comes on the radio and a I smile a little when I hear "chicks with beepers"
most people are like WTF is a beeper
Feel sorry for you. I'll pray for you.
Dig it!
Daaaaamn I needed that!!! If you couldn't feel that, you are already dead 😵
