Even though she had a bad shooting night, she impacted the game in other ways. Her teammates have gotten better at catching her passes.
It was not passes that fueled this win, it was CC teammates that nailed Key 3 pointers. Add in the Dumb Foul at the end, and the other teams fate was sealed.

Caitlin is a chronic migraine sufferer. It happened when she played at Iowa. She played through it somehow. But migraines are no joke. It affects your vision, your balance, your hearing. Quite often you end up throwing up. The fact that she wills herself to play through them is astounding. When I get them I just want to go to a dark room with my throw up bucket nearby.
@@timbabcock7645 what I meant by that is that she’s only a rookie so there’s only growth to be had, not that she will never have a worse game than this. But it’s impressive to watch bc even when she’s not shooting well she still finds a way to lead and majorly impact her team. I think if not for her playmaking skills they loose this game. She’s the glue of this team. And I’m sure we will be back at complaining, but that’s always because of coaching. Or at least it is for me. All of the players on the team have things to improve on, but the coaching is just not good enough in my opinion.

Caitlin and the fever battled throughout the game. Very exciting and competitive. It felt like I was watching a game during March Madness in College. I never really watched WNBA games. However, I have been watching their entire games only when Caitlin is playing. Other then that, not interested. The Mercury team came out all barking and starting scuffles with Fever players. You have this (Caitlin) sweet innocent looking girl next door look balling and delivering beautiful passes to get her teammates involved. Fever team beat the masculine Mercury men, I mean women, with skills along with women appeal.
Just imagine if C. Clark and A. Reese were on the same team. They would compliment each other well.🏀

Big facts. Boston, Mitchell and Clark are the offensive engine. Clark's deep shooting increases the spacing, which leads to open floor opportunities for Boston to dominate in the paint, which leads to overreactions in the lane and kickouts, and along with Clark's passing, opens up easier scoring opportunities for Mitchell who is their best bucket getter. The Fever are only going to get better.

Nobody guarded Stewie in Liberty game… @ 1:20 - She had multiple shots like that with nobody within 10-15 feet. If CC faced D like that, wow. Seriously go check out the full game highlights of Liberty this weekend, it’s night and day totally different defense and league CC is facing.

She was money, not saying anything other than she was wide open and it was surprising. They should have been double teaming her or at least staying within 3 feet!

I think the refs were aware of Reese potential record. There was a phantom foul on collier with 24 seconds left that put Reese on the line. If no foul is called..Minnesota kills the clock. However, the way Reese rebounds..she would have eventually broken it anyway.

I would like to see the replay of Caitlin getting that offensive foul on the shot attempt.
Clark just keeps getting better and better, adjusting her style of play to the speed of the game and her teammates also doing a better job of being in position for her passes, etc. She still needs to work on cutting down those turnovers and hitting that 3 ball at a higher clip but this is so fun to watch her evolve. As of now, she seems to have these bursts of greatness (like we saw in the third quarter), as she gets stronger, more experience and better teammates she is going to keep getting better and start scoring more. Way to go Caitlin, keep working!!
