i found a bed cuddle mod by thepancake1 and mizoreyukii that brings it back. it's just one animation, but its adorable and they wake up with a heart moodlet from the cuddle. so cute
I think it's because, she's not "sleeping." You commanded her (or the rare chance by autonomy) to Woohoo her boyfriend, and that's what they did, but she's "resting/wanting to still be close to him" after her and partner did the Woohoo. Sometimes the sims remain in bed like that, sometimes they don't, and they do something random after the Woohoo/leave the room. (This is common in all the sims games). However, note that the moodlets are draining naturally (It's not that she's losing energy, the game doesn't recognize her as "asleep", so basically she's just relaxing on the bed with her partner pretty much etc., so the motives drain naturally etc.) Or maybe you're right, and it's a bug that EA needs to fix. lol.
I've thought this also, but in this case, just seems incredibly lazy and just disappointing that they don't just animate them cuddling afterwards... because that's the impression it gives me. They wanna stay intimate/close after woohoo? Why not cuddle?? 😭😭

I think it only does that if your sims are tired enough to autonomously sleep though-otherwise, your Sims will just fake sleep for like twenty minutes in the game or something and then wake up and do whatever and you have to order them to ACTUALLY sleep. Very dumb, but it’s the type of quality we’re at with TS4 🥲

This never happened to me though. If their energy bar is still high or above mid after woohoo, my sims just autonomously get up from the bed and pee or get snacks from the fridge. If their energy is low after woohoo, they go directly to sleep and their energy bar refuels as they sleep. Hope your bug gets fixed 🙂
I have a mod to make them talk or bant after woohoo so I don't have this anymore lol, I just thought it was a bit cold of them to just end any interaction after being so intimate and ESPECIALLY if one left the house while the other was "asleep"
They haven't fixed A LOT of things, lol. I'm still waiting for them to fix the issue of makeup, tattoos, and scars being blurry on PS4 since the bunk bed patch.

I love this, I also really like making the weirdest situations. So basically, I have a household with two women and one man. Zane and the women Catherine and Lily. Originally I had made Zane and Catherine a couple but whenever one person is at work I make the two people who are at home a couple. Meaning everyone is in a circle or a triangle of relationships not knowing that they’re all cheating on each other. 😂
Well, good to note if I ever get the Sims 4. After Woohooing, always make the characters wake up immediately just to make them go back to sleep, this time for real, so that their energy actually might start increasing.
I always double check that they're sleeping after a woohoo. Usually one of them drops off and the other needs a reminder that they're supposed to be resting 🙄
A week ago I bought a full collection of The Sims 3 for less than 130 dollars on steam. And honestly, the only worse thing in TH3 is the graphic. Fewer bugs, when I tell my sim to go to bed they go to bed, no questions asked. Open world with a lot of space, homes, and families. The game sometimes is lagging, but my computer is weak when it comes to rendering 3d graphics. TS3 has fewer items and clothes but with each DLC (not counting accessories) we have more actual gameplay. We have a color wheel, and we can make pretty sims and houses without hours spent in CAS. I finally can play this game without cheats, I find TS4 hard when it comes to it.
TS3 is great. I love it so much that I have a mod that replaces TS4 menu music with TS3 menu music. Not that I don't like TS4 music, because I really do. But TS3 is just as glitchy. Also, TS3 needs a carefully curated set of mods to even run on anything older than 2014. Sims in TS3 can't squeeze past each other in any situation. TS4 Sims, if similarly trapped will just ghost through objects and each other instead of demanding that you fix their inability to fit two Sims close together. This applies to objects, too, like a nightstand next to a bed. The open world of TS3 definitely has it's pros, but the big con of it is that the game is keeping track of every Sim, exactly where they are, and exactly what they're doing. This is a massive drag on processing. Massive. TS4 compartmentalizes areas, yes, but it doesn't restrict movement in rather expansive areas in the later packs. They were a bit small early on. Sims come and go, the game loads them, tracks them, and then stops tracking them when they leave. The biggest, biggest thing for me though is this: in TS4, Sims can do two things at once. TS3 Sims can only do one thing at a time. It's an absolute game changer. Don't get me wrong, I love TS3, and I get why people like it more! But I prefer TS4.
theres a mod where it stops them from sleeping after cx it doesnt always work but ive noticed that it at least cuts the time they "nap" down to only about three seconds
I'm so serious when I say the game play for sims 2 was by far the best out of all of them. It was a lot more fun, way easier to use cheats and maneuver through it. If they would take the exact game play from sims 2 and just tweak it a bit with just a few things from sims 4 I think it would do amazing. Just a re-release of sims 2 but newer lol.

My sims always want to woohoo when their needs are full so when they are done, they just leave the room and interact with shiz in the house. Especially if you have pets. The minute ur needs are full, ur sims go nuts for their pets lol
I’ve had a similar issue but with showering. I’d make my sims take a shower or bath and the need wouldn’t go all the way up. It was always like they never showered…

The worst part is when they get stuck in that not sleeping state, so they won't really go to sleep or get up and do stuff if you click on it

Just started playing sims 4 this year and it confused me because in sims 3 they usually automatically go to sleep after woohoo but it acually works

They will be asleep when they are tired enough, if they aren't tired they won't be asleep
