It was that disastrous performance against Louisville that ignited them! They showed how deserved they were by beating, I thought, the two best teams in the field in Michigan St and Florida! So if anyone thought that UConn didn't earn it they were sorely mistaken! I knew once they took down Sparty, their capability soared! They had to be more than the Napier show to win it all and he got more than his share of help! Boatright and Daniels played their best basketball at UConn during that tournament run

Similarities between UConn (2014) and Villanova (2016):
    1. Both spent the first weekend of March Madness in New York
    2. Both defeated a team in the S16 whose coach bested them in a past Round of 64 game (UConn/Iowa St, Villanova/Miami - Larranaga was at George Mason in 2011, defeated Nova in the Round of 64)
    3. Both (in the Elite 8) defeated a team who they won a past non conference game against: UConn defeated Michigan St in Germany in Nov 2012, Villanova defeated Kansas in the Bahamas back in November 2013.
    4. Both won a national title in the state of Texas against the preseason #1 those respective years (UConn/Kentucky, Villanova/North Carolina).

In terms of just any kind of tournament run, I think both George Mason and VCU were insane tournament runs. Why didn’t this get vacated when Kevin Ollie cheated his whole career and got fired for it? Only do that to Louisville huh?

@@broadstreetbullies849 Willie is a center we had no rim protection he block shots just like Anthony Davis and was a nightmare on pick and rolls why you think it was so easy for him to do what did in the game. Also, Julius Randle was the best power forward in College who was limited due to injury he really shouldn’t have played.
