I liked the pickups without the paint at the end. those pickups will last forever then completely isolated from anything coming into contact with them to age the parts. differen.t

I have seen a lot of guys making guitar stuff, but this man knows what he's doing.
Resin is actually a good insulator. If my theory is correct, that should reduce the 60-cycle hum for these pickups.

I think if you made pickup covers out of wood you could probably sell quite a good number.
You might have expansion problems using wood in that way, with tight fitting pole pieces, fragile coils etc. Maybe
quality check pass
