Yes. My first home has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom like Brady bunch bathroom where joined to the bedrooms.

I just stumbled upon your tour, and can I just say how refreshing it is for you to show us your house, in the middle of being painted, not totally decked out with furniture that you won't use, etc, just for a tour!!!! And you were comfortable with it! Never lose that...that will get you a long way in the clogging world...being real and relatable.

I agree! Houses in France are boring, have a lot of small spaces, lots of doors to every room & don't have a lot of windows.

Because of the abundance of natural lighting, you could use the formal dining room as a sitting room/reading room. Storing your books with bookcases and putting down some chairs is an idea! ❤️

You know what, my son wanted black walls in his room and I love the look of the *chalkboard* wall. He loves to draw and that would be PERFECT to just have one wall black
I think the purple room in the basement would be perfect for a home theater!!

Marci M I think so! We have seen a few other houses in the neighborhood and they are mostly laid out the same so they all had that room :)

Just a thought. My cousin and his wife have a floor plan so similar to yours. They opted to switch formal living and dining rooms. absolutely beautiful. They get endless compliments🤗🤗🤗
Beautiful house! In the dinning room you should just put a nice dining room set maybe for entertaining, or just for decoration. The color of the kitchen cabinets is nice.
Congrats on your house, it is so gorgeous. I love the uniqueness of it, the staircase, all the windows and the kitchen is spectacular. We are nowhere near getting a house, but I can hope to find one as nice as yours!

I agree ,with floor to ceiling book cases a real library , books everywhere !!!!!! And a fireplace and nice chairs by the fire and an antique writing desk. My dream library!!
Nice that a deck on a porch can low screaming noise...? Nice house alot of planning it looks great the way it is wouldn't change anything. You can use the blinds in play room until you get curtains

Wow, I can't imagine having that much room! We bought our first house 20 some years ago and we're still in it unfortunately! It could fit in just a small portion of your lovely house. You are very lucky to be so blessed at such a young age!

Massive beautiful house 😍😍. I’m with your parents about not having Wesley playroom in the front. Instead you guys can use as your music room.
You guys have more then enough room downstairs, for a theater and play room etc.
it was just easier for us to have the play room upstairs instead of the basement because we don't go down their often and if i need to start a meal in the kitchen I can still keep a close eye on him! I also do think we would use an office if we put one in there : / but thank you for your input! :)

what state is that in ?
I wish that builders would put fireplaces back into the former living room (sitting room). Instead of just putting them in the great room. The living room without the fireplace leaves people confused as to what they should do with the space. But, its intended to be the former living room, with the great room being the "den".
For the living room u could have even one more coach and if u are going to put the TV up stairs get one more TV

I wish we had houses like these in sweden, its so open and has so much space but in sweden its so small and tight
I couldn’t put guests right across from my child’s room. Not only because of noise from my kid which would disturb my guests,but also for my kid’s safety. Maybe you can trust your family, but better safe than sorry, especially with in laws you only know through family members. It seems like too many ppl have a creepy uncle or suspect cousin :-/ I’d keep em in the basement unless they were my parents.

From my perspective, as a european i feel like having a house that huge is both such an overkill and sooo amazing😂. The only problem i see is coming up with a purpose for every room. Regardless, it's lovely and I hope you'll enjoy it❤️
