Just seen this video, what an amazing home. The kitchen is to die for and the conservatory is so modern and spacious, I love it. However, when you went outside and walked to the back and wham, the river, I was gobsmacked! And 3 Swans! Amazing! this house is honestly so nice!! I was fearing something cold, old and narrow.. feel like most of the British homes that they show on tv are not very nice, so very happy for you that it looks so fresh and has such a nice view!!

Congrats! Such a beautiful house with the cutest backyard! Love the river view. We live in the US and it’s interesting to compare the different levels of craftsmanship. Finding a kitchen with those thoughtful details, like being able to tuck away all your countertop breakfast appliances or having all those wonderful built in closets and office setup.. that’s hard to find here! We have larger houses on larger plots of land, but attention to detail and build quality is hard to find at a reasonable price point. Good luck with all the moving! Can’t wait to see it all come together ☺️

I would keep the bookcase in the guest bedroom. You could add glass doors to them. Then you could use for anything including folded clothing.
