Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Quality stocks have underperformed the S&P500 this year, My $400k portfolio is down by approximately 20 %, any recommendations to scale up my ROI before retirement will be highly appreciated.

India's political funding is always opaque but when modi came to power there is an added level of opaqueness? What a joke of journalism!

Tata and Ambani works in sector of cars and electronic, but adani has ports and airport which has no competition against him so he is growing that fast. Mainly he is focused on raw business like transport and manufacturing, builder group, more focused on green energy.

It took 150 years for TATAs to build such a massive empire, 2 Generations of extremely aggressive business from Reliance Group to build the empire. But Adani is bigger than both of these mighty men. And this is without any tech companies. Only from traditional businesses. There is something bad.

Even before Hindenberg came out with the details regarding Adanis people knew that there was a high P/E problem with the group. After the report more problems with the group were highlighted. Subsequently the group lost half in paper value. But the overall impact on the Indian Stock market as a whole has been nearly zero in the last 3 months.
