Being at the older end of the spectrum I found during lock down to be more like my childhood. As a kid of the sixties and seventies we did a lot of staying home. Back then traveling, going out to events or to eat was considered a luxury. I’m lucky that it really gave me a sense of growing up again and actually fueled my other interests like sculpting . I enjoy the books that people produce and gives me incentive to attempt the same. I also have enjoyed your channel for many years and appreciate as keeping more on the actual taking of photos and not gear reviews. Keep it up my friend!

Very true Mike Hess. Gear talk is fun, but I picked up a camera to try and communicate something artful and true about the world and about being in the world. Whether it's with a phone or a Fuji. And for that, this channel is like a free university education.

The photos in House Bound are haunting. Not just house bound, but also alone.
Home Bound is inspiring. I have the same challenge: "What can I shoot around here?" His use of light and shadow inspired me to learn how to make similar photos with my old TLR, just to get good at that style if not for the subjects - which hopefully will work out nicely as well.

Ted, I really liked the gene "Home Bound" by Mr. Adams and I appreciate the reasoning you gave to take pictures is just more than true!! l;ook, when someone starts finding situations to suit shooting photographs that appeal to their minds, the hunt never ends to perfect picture situations and frustration must catch up to abandonment, and many failed to show up with the excuses of not getting what they needed!! There's a multitude of opportunities around you, only to give them a hard look to get them and expose them to your heart's content and once you start finding them you never fall short of subjects that won't give you happiness a little but to the extent Mr. Adams has got from his work!!
Indeed, creating books is a labour of love; I've been working on one for over a year -- a collection of urban landscapes I made in the '80, which are popular as prints, since most of the recorded locations have been obliterated or transformed.

Dear Ted, I think you've been working very hard and you need a vacation. I propose London as it is a wonderful city with an ever growing film and street photography community. You really should come back, a lot has changed :). On a side note I absolutely love watching these videos, it amazes me what other people produce.
P.S. I'm totally not biased towards London (says the man who was born and raised in London ;) ).
