#Asmongold - Hry
I thought this was gonna be clickbait, I'm surprised he actually one shot the boss!
You fooled me ngl xD
Did…did they change the definition of one shot?
@@DadsCigaretteRun I hope not, he did multiple hits on the boss. So I am so confused since a oneshot is literally a one hit kill. o.o
@@DadsCigaretteRun asmongold doesn't even make titles on his video so its mostly clickbaits.
He's insanely over leveled for this fight so I'm not surprised at all
According to lore, he uses gravitational magic to make himself lighter, all just so he could continue to ride his beloved horse after he became so large and heavy.
Judging from how the horse is looking, he needs to work on his magic a bit more :)
Is that what he used to keep the stars away as well?
@@Overphased Yup.
Pity we couldn't hear some monologue from radahn, he seems like a really interesting character, be interesting to say about his conquering of the stars and the ramifications that had on everything
@@danielstahl8495 That's just because his horse is old it's otherwise a gigachad of horses. Radahn is basically Lu Bu who left his halberd at home.
This was such a cool boss fight. The only thing larger than radahn was my ego after I killed him.
Just wait until Malenia. She'll humble you real quick.
Wait for Malenia :)))
@@VinsmokeCoco I'm currently stuck on the godskin duo. The fight just feels unfair and incredibly unbalanced on melee radahn was easy compared to the godskin duo for me, is there a way I can progress the story and circle back to them? Because I know they are mandatory but do you know if I can just do other main bosses for now?
@@jackals1876 You can travel out of Farum Azula and do whatever. But when you beat Godskin Duo, then the next boss you'll get put into the endgame state, I would wrap up everything else before you beat the Farum circuit.
@@jackals1876 Godskin Duo is easy compared to Malenia. Might want to grind some levels to up your stats.
He's such a sick boss he was literally holding back the stars from falling while fighting the player and he uses the gravity shit to keep his horse with him. He used to be a cool ass warrior dude that got fucked by the scarlet rot. Hope they show us what he looked like and acted like before getting devoured by the rot
You can see him at his glory days during the fight with millenia the red haired woman
@@berserk3860 *malenia but yeah, you can only see him in his glory days in the trailer
@Rain In July lol no
dlc boss incoming rip
He still was eaten from inside by the rot inflicting a lot of pain while not being himself either because of that, he also was the most powerful demigod and now he's the easiest after Godrick. If he was completely free, focused and prepared like he used to be, we probably wouldn't fight him, as he would guard the erdtree instead Morgott and slay all of the shardbearers because we was on the golden order's side and would probably become elden lord, but if we were to face him, (as we would need to if the main purpose of the game still was claiming the title of being elden lord) that wouldn't be anywhere near beatable. Also he is just cool as shit, swords and armor too. He is a loving person, like his relationship for his long time steed.
Best character in elden ring without doubt, elden ring 2 is being talked about, but with all of this that needs to happen (in elden ring 1), I don't think we'll see any gameplay of after our character becomes elden lord, as there are no more major threats (unless, of course, we skip thousands of years forward in a whole other timeline where a similar event happens). I think we will see another kind of elden ring universe, or we'll get to play earlier in time, before the great shattering and we'll see what the elden ring universe is all about, rather than just completing a task. But yeah, I only just started playing less than a week ago and a have so many things to say about this game. Also, as said, I love Radahn and the boss battle (even more when considering all of the things bothering him, recent events and his past self) And the title, "Starscourge" fits him perfectly he just manages to do so much, even when being freeused by radio active shits of red shrooms and holding stars back and all of that wow holy fuck this game is pretty fucking good.
For those worried for Radahn's Steed back, dont worry.
Lore say, Radahn learned Gravity Magoc specifically so he could control his own gravity so he could be lightet and not break his beloved steed back and continue ridding into battle.
You also discover after the fight what even in his mad monster state, he was using his Gracity Magic to prevent the meteorites from Outer Gods from attacking Lands in Between
He didnt just love his soldiers, he loved also his steed and loved his land.
Press F to pay your respect to General Radahn
No I won’t press F.
The stars were not a meteor attack from other gods mentioned only 1 time in an item description. The stars aren't an attack, and they aren't an attack by outer gods. You need more evidence to prove that, another item description with more info, dialogue, something. Miquella's needle mentions it can ward off outer god influence...and that's it. Nothing else mentioned any of what you said unless I just wasn't paying attention.
Where can h read the lore
Wow! Thankyou for this piece of information that everyone knew already
@@kota7480 i didn't
Using the npc summons made the boss feel so cinematic even if it made the boss somewhat trivial since its just you and the boys you met along the way going in there to kick a demi gods teeth in, and it really makes the boss look like a demigod when hes killing all the tarnished summoned warriors and basically 1vxing a small army of them.
was still hard af for me cause each of my hits did like 1/5th what asmon deals in this video lmao. could not of done it first playthrough solo
It makes the fight feel like a raid which is pretty sweet.
Sometimes the summons actually make it harder, cause he starts wildly swinging, and there's no opening to hit him in melee anymore. That's assuming you're not cheesing him with ranged XD
It was sick watching you and a bunch of others all there to kill this ancient demigod
@@lumayne8829 Same for me. I fought him at level 51 and I couldn't take a single hit from him. Any of his sword attacks one shots me. I had to play the fight flawlessly without getting hit by his swords.
Fun fact: Radahn's horse isn't getting crushed because when he was younger he learnt gravity sorcery to reduce his weight so he can ride his trusty steed Leonard again
Now if I can use gravity magic on the ladies we’ll be gravy
doesnt matter shit looks unnatural lmao
Fun fact #2. (From Zullie) If you check the AI scripts, the one for Radahn is labeled RadahnandLeonard. So the poor horse is named Leonard.

@@limbokillah1397 physical ain’t hard either with that big health bar. I can most definitely beats every boss.
Exactly. I don't know why he has such a problem with using summons
I also did the boss with a melee build and no summons, but i thought it was easier to do off the horse. The same attack pattern u went in and did 2 attacks on, u could hug his feet and get many hits in
try rump
I thought Radahn was just a test of on/off horse skill. Once I got the arrow sequence down I got him to p2 in 2 tries, then killed him in 2 more. All credit goes to the hours I spent rolling through The Nameless King.
I used summons ngl even then it was hard, but yeah I had a much better time once I realized how much easier it was to be on foot and stay under him and just hop on torrent to get away and heal and running from certain moves like the meteors
the horse is dumb. why would u ever limit ur movement like that
@@budthecyborg4575 I found a bug with trolls in limegrave. If they are facing away from you and you come up behind them while riding torrent they don't aggro on you.
When Radahn steps on his horse shoving him into the sand it only happens when Radahn is doing an AOE attack which could potentially hurt his horse, this implies that he is shoving the horse into the sand to protect his scrawny loveable horse 🐎.
Also the horses name is Leonard
I just defeated him last night and i went through the exact same things as Asmon. Amazing fight, amazing character and seriously the music?! Incredible!
Even thought the fight may not be the best fight mechanically in the game but for sure it's the best fight in the game visually and conceptually
It's so cool to me, that even in his messed-up state Radahn still holds the starts by gravity, along with himself. Not even really remembering what his original mission was, and still carrying it out. He is a true warrior.
I just beat this guy last night he was so fucking crazy I’ve never fought such a thematic boss as cool as him
I just bet him last night and now trying to level up endurance so I can wear his armor and sword :D
"But this boss is not possible without summons it's too hard!" - Billy in Twitch chat, 2022
I think the devs wanted summons though almost part of the bosses story
i mean summoning all the other tarnished makes the fight cooler, an army vs a demigod type fantasy
You misspelled "Keemstar".
He did the smart thing and is pretty over leveled for this boss
honestly the summons all get one shot and make his attacks very unpredictable, not to mention getting one shotted yourself while trying to summon them again in phase 2. I think they're pretty balanced and the impact isn't that noticeable
I'm surprised actually he did it without the npc summons especially with a melee build.
I mean he was over leveled as fuck
@@javidkhezerlou5489 what level was he?
@@theninja2k14 pretty sure his weapon is 8+
Its totally doable. He is not the hardest fromsoft boss.
he also has now locked himself out of a bunch of quests with greatsword rewards like blaidds set etc
It took me like 15 attempts to realize that the fight (for me) was much easier on foot with no summons. His hits stun you when you’re mounted, and a lot of his attacks swing behind him or are 360 with the summons out. He continually switched aggro between swings and I’d get clipped. You get more openings when he’s only focused on you. Second phase you just strafe when he pulls out the purple bolts, and then dodge roll through the meteors. At least that’s how I was able to beat him.
Same for me. Tried to use ranged strategies and being on a horse because he killed me a couple of times with one attack on melee when I started. I was under level 50. Then after hitting my head on the wall I thought screw this, I am going melee with a spear. Beat him first time trying that.
Felt same way. If you're melee, it's easier without summons.
just put scarlet rot on him in phase 2 and you can focus on dodging his stuff.

He made it even harder on himself by not using the other quick menu to summon his horse, instead he has it in the flask section.

Then I hard sprinted on horse, spam summoned the heroes and used the increase damage on horseback talisman. Pure melee build, no bleed, no spells. You can keep summoning the heroes after they die as well. Only thing the horse can't dodge is the aoe suck in ability and his purple arrow

Tree sentinel weapon is my favorite and there is a hidden attack if you completely charge the attack on horse back, he will loop-swing and hit twice, knocking opponent into the air
Also, weapon art boosts def and attk
I personally run a confessor build with flail and golden halberd with finger seal for heals and fireballs
The bleed stack on flail heavy wind up is OP
The meteor ability is a top 10 coolest moment in video game history
''ill be fast and will be over with very quickly'' immedatly dies right after. lmao
