Recently got a couple of bricks of the new package Centre X and finding it shoots very well. Shot quiet a bit of it previously and not quiet as good as this lot but before I worked out to be hyper competitive I needed to shoot Midas +
Center X has been treating me well. I have not shot much Midas +
Could you please include the lot number of the ammo that you test, thanks.
Good point, here you go. 28566/704111
Thank you !
If you put the targets 12 and drop down and put two more and put them really close to each other like 1/2 inch apart your groups will be a lot better I have tried this and it works don't line them up one two three across believe me Good shooting brother.
Beagleman
I have no doubt, I believe part of my problem is when I move from target to target and how the rifle shifts in the rest. I am working on figuring out how to be more consistent. Thanks for the tip.
What is your opinion on barrel length 16 , 18 , 20 , 24 ? I have heard you speak of barrel whip and harmonics it would seem like a shorter barrel would limit this , but it has been my belief that a longer barrel would stabilize the round better.
Undecided and agree with your thoughts on shorter barrels less barrel whip but not 100% sure at this point. More testing to come for sure.
Seems like a quite loud report for subsonic 22LR ammo fired from the riffle. Mic was very close or what?
Yes, Mic as basically inline with the end of the barrel. I hope it was not too loud.
What is it you don't like about the bipod?
I don’t like that you are limited to the 3 notches in the bi-pod. This is coming for a bench rest shooter, may not be a big deal of other types of shooting,
Hello and greetings from Poland, I have a question how often do you clean the barrel in tikka t1x. I've already fired about 2,000 rounds of ammunition with the tikka and noticed a strange discoloration in the barrel, something like glitter just sprinkling the bottom of the barrel. Sorry for English - I'm writing through the translator. here is a link to a similar phenomenon. 1min: 50 s and 57 sek czcams.com/video/fn44RggKJRY/video.html
