I have had good luck with Eley. What I shoot most is Worf Match Extra, as it's made by Eley, but branded by Wolf. Alot of folks think of the cheap steel ammo when they hear Wolf, so it's in stock alot more readily than other Match stuff, and it's affordable! I have 2 457's, the chassis model and the newest Match model (with the flat bottom foregrip) Manners stock. Both of them shoot it very well!
My understanding of it is it's made on Eley's older Tenex loading machines, when they bought new machines.
*edit....BTW, that stock on your MTR looks really nice!

Purely a guess as I am commenting before I watch the video, I have the exact same set up, although I haven't shot any RWS ammo I'd lean towards the rws50 coming out on top. edit - it looks like I was wrong, hehe, I so enjoy shooting my 457 mtr with the big walnut stock, some may think its an ugly duck but to me it's beautiful and so fun to shoot

You are correct, I was actually surprisingly happy with the results of the RWS ammo. Although the R50 did better but because of price I may move forward with the RWS Rifle Match for the next part of this adventure.

Nice work, are you using the factory trigger in the MTR? My rifles like RWS 100/50 & Target, not the match labeled ammo. Fiocchi 320, shoots very well @ 50/100, 3rd place @ 200 yards < cheaper than RWS, Midway has for $16. I have been testing 200 yards, RWS 100 and Tenex so far are the best... Some Ammo shoots awesome @ 50 and not so good past 75/120 yards. What I am observing is at longer ranges, what shoots good @ 200 yards, shoots good @ 25/50/75/100 yards. Have you noticed any accuracy issues after 60 - 90 rounds, like unexplained flyers or shift in grouping + opening up?
I noticed you sent me a message on deep cleaning: So I bore scope the barrels (Zypher II, Savage TRR-SR, CZ 457 PRO). I use JB paste + Kroil per instructions. Nylon brushes, Hopps 9 for lead/copper. What I found is carbon ring and lead build up near the end of the barrel in all rifles. The Savage and CZ are the most used, Savage all around suffers the most accuracy and ejection issues. The Zypher I only shot sparingly in comparison, but some ejection issues, all due to lube on round and number of rounds fired.
JB paste knocks out the carbon rings/wax, the Kroil is essentially a thickening agent for JB, helps it spread more evenly in the barrel and collects the debris. This combo is best for carbon (we would shoot 80 - 250 rds. Screwing around) build up, and Hopps #9 takes care of the rest. I spin the cleaning rod with a nylon bore brush at the chamber until my fingers are sore, then back and forth the length 15x, repeat as required. After I validate the barrels are spick and span, I then lube the barrel from the front with Frog lube, I use it everywhere interior/exterior. What Frog does for me besides lubricate, clean and protects, it reduces my barrel cleaning time and allows for more rounds down range before loosing accuracy. It works well with SK ammo!
I always notice especially in the Savage all CCI (wax/dirty round) would lose accuracy and fail to eject after 55-70 rounds, CZ around 70 rounds similar issue but not as bad. SK Pistol Match/& Special, Long Rang, Fiocchi 320 all shoot .1+ to .3+ @50 yards. No ejection issues, no carbon build up and the accuracy lasts to about 60+ rounds. My 1st 25-30 rounds after cleaning are usually my best 90% of the time, my siders are sometimes my best all day. So my buddies and I one day cleaned our Rifles with a nylon brush, Hopps #9 and re-lube with Frog @ 20/30/40/50/60/70/80 rounds. Two CZs > MTR & At One, Savage TRR SR and Zyper II. We found Savage sweet spot was 40 rds., CZ @ 1 was 50-60 rds. and CZ MTR/Zypher II was 60 rds... The ammo was CCI Standard, we then did it for SK Pistol Match and boy oh boy we could go 10-40 rounds more. Exercise was over back to screwing around shooting lollipop stems and racket balls on a string @100 yards:) Yeah, we like lollipops!
The SC state 4 time champ and the regional 2 time Champ 22 lr BR Shooter, shoots with us once in a while, showed us how to. He is 76 yrs old. Clean, clean, clean he says, don't be lazy unless your just screwing around, he cleans every 20-30 rds.. when he can. He uses JB paste only once in a while especially if it is cold. He said cold temps (near below/freezing) makes it harder to clean but if barrel is warm/hot no need use what works for you on lead/carbon, he said, "best time to clean is hot/warm barrel". He doesn't use Frog, he uses CLP for everything. He also shoots only Lapua products. Act is what he uses to practice with. I can't afford what he does, he sends his bare rifle (completely custom 24 lbs with tuner/36x scope) to Lapua gets the 3 best ammo types and buys 10-15k rounds each and tunes them in with his huge tuner on the end, baseball sized tuner. He is a lawyer, lol!
    GL See ya!

I shot it with the CZ457 AT-ONE and Lapua Center X. This is the rifle I shot all 2022.
Good eye by the way, hard to believe you could get that much detail from the video, you must have a big TV.
