    Ovid seems to be the greatest ancient poet. At least to me, so far. More poetic than Homer and Hesiod in my opinion. Greater than the Egyptians and the Sumerians, haven't read the Persions or Chinese yet. Anybody know of something 8 should read?

    You mention OVID's works were "published" - how did that happen before printing? Can't find much of anything about publishing in Roman times.

    I'm sick of these people yacking about him being banished and not much else. like you're over it once you've heard it a few times, can you say somrthing different please? otherwise there's no point in watching anyone talk about ovid past that point???
