- Nepal's legal system struggles with a number of issues that often lead to innocent people being convicted. Police investigations lack rigor and rely heavily on coerced confessions. Forensic evidence is rarely collected or analyzed properly. Legal aid is lacking, especially for the poor. The courts struggle with case backlogs, and judges often give in to political pressure. All of this means that even with the best of intentions, the system traps innocent people - ruining lives and undermining trust in the justice system.
An expert estimates around 20% of people in jail are innocent, so what is going on and how did we reach here?

We Nepalese are never concerned what’s going on in our society. We are all busy in tiktoks and even in social media we waste our time watching vlogs and memes that’s why I wanna thank the Nepali comment for bringing up all the contents that we actually need. Making such informative and educational videos can help us stay aware and consume the contents that is beneficial for us . With cheque cases, People are even being jailed for 1 lakh rupees but Murderers are walking freely...

@@prasannajha7131 You know it court runs on proof . If you analyze the proof then in some cases innocent also has to pay consequences. This same happened in most of the cases of this video. Everyone knew they were innocent but evidence was against them . That's why they were sent to jail. It's sad such type of system is developed and sad thing is we can't correct it. Innocent people may become victim of proof in the court
Our South Asian judiciary system has a error and it was totally corrupt , power of money and post can manipulate any evidence in our country infact our judge and lawyer ,advocate,police they are just a puppet Infront of powerful people, I think Nepal didn't remain secure anymore for normal people, to keep hope of justice with nepali court and administration is just stupidity
