I don't think Jonathan EVER sleeps....so many projects going on.
That's good to see some automotive stuff again with Jonathan
Always great to see you and Jonathon working on a project together, this is going to make a really nice driver once it's finished.
FINALLY !! Get Johnathan back on cars! Steam engines are cool but not as cool as his crazy collection of old iron!!
"Ran when wrecked."
I wouldn't mind being Jonathan's neighbor, as it's never boring over there. That engine looks right at home in the vintage truck. I hope they can make the '58s gauges work with the modern sensors; that would be really cool.
Glad to see you two guys working together, more of this type of videos helping each other.
Johnboy glad you had someone to help you it's hard to find good help and keep the videos coming in and have a great day.
The cherry picker looks cool with that arched neck. Very cool.
Man that's the best thing you can do for the old champ. Great project.
Excellent video Delray :) & Johnathan W :) also hopefully see up all installed in place on set , first fire up also how all working to on 1958 and first drive too ! Looking forward more videos too soon on this 1958 truck to!
Scott, you guys amaze me with the work that you do using the bare necessities and in the dirt on gravel lots. From building custom semis in the back yard to LS swapping an old truck in the driveway. You all would be dangerous with a concrete floor and an overhead hoist there would be no stopping you.
And since when has that ever slowed Jonathan down any?
It's what men do, guys I'm around do similar shit. It amazes me too until I'm laying in grave that's got a sheet of ice on it handing sockets to dad lmao. Still, the machine is what captivates me
Nice looking project!
I was going to ask how you have to deal with the computer......but then you explained it. It sounds straight forward the way you made it look.
tHanks for the video
Great video 👍
That forklift sounds like the log splitter dad traded for out on county line years back
Lookin forward to updates, thanks for the video!
started raining ! hell that's just more time to play checkers and drink beer ! make mine a cup of coffee
GM really screwed up with that engine design. There's about 3 inches of unused space under the throttle-body that they didn't stuff in a few sensors, wires and hoses. What a waste. You guys managed to get that set in there pretty nicely. Can hardly wait for the next videos to see it start up.
That's going to be a sweet swap😀
Great video!..stay safe guys.
Good job getting the engine and transmission out of one and into the other. Thanks for the video.
Yes love Jonathan you all make awesome team
I wish I had a way to transport things easier. Up here a good straight box is worth about a grand. My old truck would look proud with that one. Good video Scott.
That"s gunna be a sweet ride! I just subscribed to see how it turns out!
great video by you both
Looks like an engine made out of wires is going in
hold up could easily be miss heard as go up
Gonna be sweet!!
Good job guys. I worked on lots of those trucks. Wonder if Johnathan will part with the 235, I have a 50' GMC with a siezed engine. Only problem is I'm in Canada.
I think Jonathan might still be able to help. He's mighty resourceful.
It had the big 261 and I sold it to a friend for his 55 truck.
@@jonathanw4942, I'm just glad to see it go to a new home where it can once again be a useful engine.
Like those late 50s Chevys, all you need s a higher gear
Awesome job . Very familiar location .
Interested to see how or if you can the original dash gauges and speedometer to work with conversion !
Love those models
Rear steering:-)
Put the camera on a tripod and grab some wrenches!!!! Eddy
I think Jonathan should have left the stovebolt in it, but I am old and I dont like engines that are smarter then I am.
Needed an overdrive, can't drive 50 mph around here without getting ran over,
Need to say 'Bye'
Why don't you just set the cab on the new style chassis I did it to my 52 gmc 1-ton and it worked perfect then you can scrap the ruff riding old school chassis
Jonathan will get about $.10 a pound for that plastic tin aluminum cab in scrap. Fine looking 58. Make it a runner. ( steering in the back tires cause steering rod is in the way Jonathan ) lol shame on you.
Thx Delray.
So many wires
You keep saying you are going to take out the engine swap and take this engine swap and put it in the 58 lol what was your english teachers name son?
Jesus, look at all the sh!t attached to that engine!! I miss the old days when you opened a hood and there was....... an engine.
A rats nest of wires....a headache...
please get back to the car shows please
