    Hi, Thank you for the helpful video. Do you know if Visa on Arrival is still valid? How easy or difficult the Visa on Arrival for Bolivia is it btw? They don't seem to have an embassy in Dubai and hence, Visa on Arrival is the only option for us.

      Sorry, somehow missed your comment earlier. Just in case you are still looking for an answer, there are a couple of things that we normally suggest.
      1. Email the nearest Bolivia consular office to check if they have any advice on ANY change in the visa-on-arrival rule for India or UAE who fall under Tier/Group 2 and are eligible for Visa on arrival for USD 95 (price as of the time we write this). In case there is no office in the country of residence, we found this general consular mail - consular@rree.gob.bo on this link www.cancilleria.gob.bo/webmre/node/484, that will help you get started. You will also find the visa application online form at the end of this page.
      2. Check with the airline that you will most probably fly with. Our experience is that they are stricter with procedures than the country's immigration department. Also, sometimes, they do not even know the visa-on-arrival option and may ask for a stamped visa. So it is better to have a clarification before flying.

      Hi Uday. Indians traveling to or from Yellow Fever endemic countries need to have a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate. All the 3 countries where you’re visiting - Bolivia, Peru and Brazil are Yellow Fever endemic countries. So, yes you do need the YF vaccination certificate. Check more details on this government website: www.ihpoe.mohfw.gov.in/vaccination.php

    Hello madam is the online application update when you get the visa is it is change from complete to approved or no ?

    • @ParadiseCatchers
      @ParadiseCatchers  Před 7 měsíci

      In our case, we got a call from the embassy in Costa Rica that the visa was approved and we could collect it. Also, at the time of our application, the online visa process for Bolivia was not streamlined well, as it is now. So we would suggest checking the status online if it changes but also mail/call them to confirm if it is taking too much time.

    Hello fellow travellers. I am planning to go in December from Chilean land border but I need to get visa as I hold Indian passport. Can you please share contacts of tour guides especially to uyuni and surrounding areas and the cost associated with it?

      Hi Ankush. We traveled the other way round, from Uyuni in Bolivia 🇧🇴 to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile 🇨🇱. It was 3 day tour with Red Planet Expedition - we had a good experience with them. If you want to travel from Chile to Bolivia, our recommendation is to arrive in San Pedro de Atacama and then shop around for the best tour and inclusions. There are several tour companies on the main street of San Pedro de Atacama, and most of them have similar offerings and pricing. Best wishes for your trip 😊
