- Slowfeeding is a technique used in both hand grinders and electric grinders to maximize the capabilities of the tool and reduce the amount of microfine particle it produces. It is plenty useful in competitions and situations alike when you want to manipulate the end product of your grinder in order to brew better coffee. The Slowfeeding Test will be a multipart series of all the grinders i own and all the grinders I can borrow to successfully do the experiement. In this episode we are testing the Timemore C3.
great content as always sir daryl!
@@DwytRayms-pq1mc thsnk you'
The C3 is a very good grinder for its price, I'm in love with my C3 ESP for Espresso, Moka and Aeropress. Please consider to use some comparative charts in this kind of videos, it's always attractive and helpful. But still a good video, keep doing such a great work, I'm following you closely 😉
@@Mastrenich thank you!!
Yayyy! I'd love to learn more about my C3 as well. Thanks for C3 contents. I also changed my burr to E&B
@@BeyfighterFaris why did you change to e&b burrs?
@@darylbuenocoffee because I want to upgrade my grinder performance
@@BeyfighterFaris yes, i meant what is the e&b burrs supposed to do?
@@darylbuenocoffee it produces higher uniformity and precision of grinds. From 3/5 rating improve to 5/5 rating
Hey Daryl, I'd like to know more about the grind settings on C3
Do you have c3 grind chart to commandte ?
I'm enjoying my C2 with tilted method, don't know how it compares to the C3 :)
@@berkayersoy in my experience, i think the c3 has a lot more uniform grind quality as compared to the c2. By doing the tilted method i think you can improve the grind quality on it to have a better grind quality
just tried a slow feed with my C3, and it tasted different from what it usually produces. it is much brighter and more acidic, but the lychee notes disappeared. I dont know what I did wrong. I used Mt. Apo anaerobic natural po by Marivic Dubria
@@energygabby nice! :) maybe you need to adjust your contact time. This could extract more while have the power to brew with lower temps :)
@@darylbuenocoffee oh nicee ill try this. thank you!!
