The race felt so boring to watch because crofty doesn't give a shit for anything other than a move for p1.

Imagine if Kimi was at those driver introductions...
Bwoah
"For WHAT?! I am not doing it, I will be sitting in the car"
We’d have a repeat of him missing the Pele’ appearance
He would miss it because he was having a s***
Well that’s impossible because he wouldn’t have been in those introductions. It would have been, “Here are 19 of the worlds best drivers!”
So it turns out Daniel Riccardo didn't leave McLaren, he escaped.
Escaped with the bag as well

As an Australian mclaren fan... this truth hurts so bad.
Wish it wasn't true but it is
For me the best part of the race was Russell confusing Sargeant for Perez in the distance and his realisation of where merc are 🤣
That was AMAZING
Meanwhile Alonso is watching the race on the screens around the track 🤣
Thas was great wasn't it
Alonso sniffing the flowers behind Max's interview was my favourite bit.
12:01 I rewatched the Alonso onboard, it is most likely the big screen at turn 11, and that seems only visible when you are in the braking zone. The man's hitting the apex while keeping an eye on the big screen for the crowds, what a legend.
Alonso out here pulling the Jean Girard (Talladega Nights) 😂 hes so fucked, gotta love him ❤
Danny Ric going from McLaren #2 to Red Bull reserve is starting to look like an upgrade.

People have suddenly forgotten the silver arrow dominance with a very rare midfield fight.
this. people keep forgetting that it was not fun to watch 2 cars drive 30-50 seconds clear of the rest of the field with a midfield that was not competitive.
Atleast now we dont have a clear back marker (mayby Alpha Tauri?) with 15 cars within 1 second in qualifing and fight all trough the midfield. Mercedes is fighting Ferrari again. Alonso beeing between the red bulls and the merc/fer battles is fun to watch to.
If you just root for 1 driver/team, the sport gets boring very fast. But root for another team aswell. I am a Verstappen fan as a Dutchie so i enjoy his fvight with Perez. But i also am old enough to enjoy the new rise of Alonso and root for him to. I also keep an eye on Williams as a legacy team and having fun to see Albon bring that team back into the midfield and not be a back marker anymore.
The fact that the mercedes dominance era was boring doesn't change the fact that this era is also boring
@@AzureKite you did not read my entire comment. i gave reasons why this season is not as boring as merc dominating seasons. Because alot more is happening on the track. And i see this more as the hamilton/rosberg season where there is fighting at the front (eventough Max mic dropped Perez 2 times comming from halfway down the field to the podium).
But the hamilton and his pet Bottas where truly boring seasons with no fights in the mid field.
Now we have a season with no clear back marker team and plenty of fights in the midfield
@@ronniebots9225 Youre absolutely right there, I believe most of these people just havent watched F1 back when it was just a Merc show, just dont want to see Max win or are just complaining because thats what people do.
Max could win from 20th again and people would say it was a boring race.
The most people saying 'X race was boring' mean 'im upset because my favorite driver didnt win.'
@@ronniebots9225 The Verstappen and Perez fight is not close. Perez started off last season with pace much more similar to Verstappen and as the season unfolded and the car was tweaked over time, he dropped further and further back. There's no reason to assume anything other than the same thing happening this season.
Never mind the fact that the only races Checo can consistently outpace Verstappen are street circuits. It's nice that Perez has hung with him well so far but he realistically has no chance at taking the championship without Verstappen having a ton of bad luck and some huge mistakes as well.
This is nothing like Hamilton and Rosberg.
The fact that Alonso was watching the the screens and Russell was singng was amazing
It showed that race was boring.
If you're upset with this race, you're not gonna be pleased with anything this season. The mid field was a solid fight and entertaining
Yeah, there were interesting overtakes and fights. However, the circuit does not really flow well imo. Most overtakes took place in the same corner so that is not ideal.
You’re brain dead if you found that entertaining.
I Enjoyed it to bad the BackMarkers didn’t get any action
I enjoyed watching Max overtaking everybody until lap 15.
F1 a dead sport
I thought it was a decent race overall, not the most interesting or fun ever but you had quite a few nice overtakes and battles and Max was legitimately just flying the entire time
It’s just 57 laps in a circle then verstappen wins. 2021 was awesome, but 7 years before that it was 57 laps of Hamilton winning.
name 3 battles?
@Garry Long then look at a quite close midfield battle. There isn't just one car going round
@@whitewolf8051 if you have to settle for the midfield for your entertainment, your series is boring.
@Garry Long yes it was... every race is a certain amount of laps in a circle and then a driver winning. Every race in 2021 was just 300 km of laps in a circle and then Max or Lewis won.
Matt finally accepting he's a Charles fanboy is character development
oscar actually had a brilliant start, moved up 5 places within just the first few corners, but strategy screwed him over and he was battling brake issues for pretty much the whole race hence why he was so far behind lando
The rookies really haven't been having any luck this year on their home circuits
This race was a lot better than last year’s. The mixed up grid definitely helped and contributed to a lot of the action. We still ended up with the familiar podium of VER-PER-ALO, but definitely had my expectations exceeded.
Well, it's pretty hard to be worse than last years.
Did we watch the same race?
@@Simon-cv7iq yeah this was one of the better races this year. I was not a miami fan, but this race was solid.
@@duuudde12 One of the worst camera directing I've seen in a minute, while I'm literally watching guys close the gap where the times are shown, I kept yelling that they should switch frames, they were filming irrelevant nonsense. Terrible work. Overall it was a poor race too, nothing surprising, the only overtaking zone for the most part was in the DRS zone, F1 needs to fix this honestly.
@@hakshustletv nah m8. It's already turning into european indycar. But i agree that they sometimes made poor choices with what they showed.on track.. but a poor race ? 55 overtakes, back n forth battles. This race was better than 80% of the races the past 5 years.
It was actually a solid race and I enjoyed it considering EVERYONE thought there wasn’t going to be much overtaking. There was quite a lot considering the conditions and how free practice went. Sure it could have been better if there was a SC or some rain but that’s how it goes sometimes. Not sure if you can blame the Miami track for that.
The overtakes where almost all drs though which isn't exciting
yeah mid field was good. Gazman was awesome to cheer for. Then Kmag was sticking it to them. Max coming thru. the McLs imploding. HAM coming thru at the end. Was a good race, they feel about 20 laps too long to me. About lap 50 you can see from the first stint what the orders going to be.
@@Kieran_OPCall overtakes are always DRS
it's a bit sad that so much focus gets put on the RB19, yet not on Max's skill. The dude was going faster on 44 lap old hards than Perez on his fresh set of hards. Give the man some credit, not just the car. Incredible race from Max.
He's not British, so I'm afraid you won't find that sentiment here unfortunately. But it is what it is. History will remember
@@skeletonmodel Max has more British fans than Lewis does. Don’t let F1 media fool you for a second.
He does get it, but its the same as Ham drives earlier in the hybrid era. "overtake" = just going 40kph delta on a straight and you get the position. How good was he vs how bad was Perez? No one actually knows, all we know is that it isn't too interesting. Like everyone knows Ham is a legend (except hater kids) and the same with Ver. But we want to see them fight for it, when they have an amazing car + beeing great driver, it just isnt much racing and just sunday drives for P1.
We were just spoiled from 2021 and early 2022 with these mega battles for P1, now its just breezing pass everyone.
3:39 That double overtake was started in the previous corner. Max had a wonderful drive out of the corner, no scrubbing of speed, and was dumping ERS the whole way. That wasn’t the car. That was Max.
Magnussen activated DRS later which made it look like a breeze
Yup and Charles got a bad exit defending. Max read the situation and set himself up correctly.
I will have to warn you that your comment will trigger a lot of people. But yes, very clear. Perez was nowhere in the same car

@@Lanse1984 no, the overtakes and the pure racing from the other drivers were quite decent as well

@@joshuawhelan9358 A lot of overtakes were genuine wheel to wheel action. I feel like the FIA got the DRS just about right for this one it gave them enough speed to get close in the corner and then overtake them. Most of Hamilton's overtakes were in the corners because that merc's got the aero of a G-wagon going down the straight.
Been watching since 2018 overall I feel this was a decent race we had some suspense about the win and potential RB fight. The midfield was extremely tight most that I've ever seen in the last 6 years its just that the track and TV coverage were meh.
How did Sir Jakie Stewart not get a mention in this, best part of the whole weekend 😂
As someone that was desperate to see Haas be competitive on a race weekend, Miami really worked for me. K-Mag throwing punches with Leclerc was a lot of fun. Nice to see Alpine improvement as well. At this point, I've given up paying any attention to Red Bull (makes being a fan easier).
As a max fan that race was fantastic
He made me damn proud today.
His best ever win imo
Agreed. Simply lovely
@@jacob2808 Better than COTA 2021?
@suckieduckie oooh that is a shout tbf, but I think this one just edges it out
The driver intro was truly an introduction of all time.
I think that race was just Max asserting his dominance over Perez. He's not had a flawless start to the season this year, so that performance was very much a statement. I can't imagine how far clear he'd have been of Perez if he'd started at the front, I can only guess about 20 seconds
I’m 1 minute at least, as you said, it was about showing who’s the boss. I doubt he would have backed off at all. Pushing ‘til the line.
He was dominant on this track all weekend. There’s just something Checo misses on the non-street tracks.
@@phoebesmith8154 does this not count as a street track?
@@fin-ed6oj no. It’s not using street roads as far as I’m aware, which is what determines a street track ☺️
did you see the tiny swerve Max did at Checo when he passed him on the straight.
Think they nailed the drs zones. Most overtakes were under breaking and not just others passing drivers.
Perfectly solid race. Overtakes, differing strategies, Alonso on the podium. What more can we ask for?
A tire going, a good move, a Logan Sargent point, a DNF?
@@rookiechauffeur You dont need drama to have a decent race. There was plenty of overtaking, a comeback from both Hamilton and Max, and a battle for the lead. If you're looking for random chaos, watch something else, this is motorsport.. 😂

@@rookiechauffeur have you seen Russell on Sainz? That was fire.
We can ask for potentially more racing. The racing was fine but was very repetitive and tbh only kmag and max at the start had actual interesting moves. Also there wasn’t a yellow flag during the whole race which obviously spices thijgs up. Had there been a safety car at the end, we would have had an amazong fight between checo and max for the win? (With alonso in the mix too)
Alonso scored 15 points in every racing weekend until now.
*so far
“Until now” lol…
It was a solid midfield race, and super clean. That's all that we could expect, tbh.
The reality is, the race was actually very tense and exciting BECAUSE of how much was threatened the entire weekend. you had accidents in practices and qualifying, a mixed up grid and the promise of rain - it all sounded like it could easily become interesting. and so we were on the edge of our seats. it just... didn't ever follow through with it. so maybe a little disappointing, but I didn't actually fall asleep like I did during the last race.
Even though the outcome of a RB 1-2 was predictable, it was interesting how it played out. And there were lots of overtakes and other racing to keep me interested. Much better than last year.
Last few concerns need a rework and that race will be a banger.
I liked the race. The battle between Charles and K-mag was pretty good. The Max double overtake there was unreal. Fernando's radio message was hilarious. Lewis made some moves. Alpine finally up where they should be. And Max laid down a statement of intent posting consecutive fastest laps on 40 ish lap old hards.
Idk how max managed it those tires looked like they was falling to pieces at least 15 laps prior
I really enjoyed this race, in terms of pure racing, this was the best race out of the 5 grand prix we had so far
Lol.
All in all I enjoyed the race! Loved seeing Magnussen show us all that he can clang swords with the best of them when he’s in competitive machinery and he’s dialed in.
I feel about this race the way Russell felt about his tires: been better, been worse.
Verstappen destroyed the "Checo can win" crowd. SIMPLY LOVELY!
On one hand, damn max
On the other, 😬 you cant help but feel bad bout checo, though overall you cant deny that max is def the better driver of the 2 in that car, he is a genuinely stellar driver when he cooks, shame he prob wont win a championship with rb, his only shot at winning a championship is to jump ship to a diff team tho even the chances of that working out well are near 0%
4:40 George didn’t even fight Max, he could have kept the position that lap but he knew it was a waste of time to keep Max behind, plus he used Max to get a position off of Gasly since Gasly was badly compromised by Max’s overtake
Race was much better than I expected!
It's quite simple, the race had a few technical aspects which some may appreciate, with a fair bit of wheel to wheel happening off screen, so it was decent overall considering no SC, Red flags, etc - see Damon Hill's tweets. Those that are moaning just expect 57 laps of carnage, and more importantly something other than a RB 1-2.
At this point, everyone should just accept that there's two races happening:
1) The race between the Rebulls for P1.
2) The race between the other 9 teams.
If you treat it that way, its a lot more exciting.
The reason the race was so shit for some people is because commentary was just brushing off big overtakes from drivers the whole time like it's no big deal.
They literally interviewed Christian Horner while the was a 3 way battle on screen. No hype at all.
@@bipolarminddroppingsMulti-class racing.
@@10acious32 I guess some people have the ability of thinking a race is exciting without the commentary telling them it's exciting 😂
@@mackbuildsthings yeah definitely. I enjoyed the gp but it's just annoying when some cool shit happens and the people who are payed to care don't.
I think it was a good and interesting race, which is especially surprising as there was no real impactful incidents whatsoever. The qualifying surely had something to do with that, but the track also seemed nowhere as hard to overtake on as we all feared.
My guess is that most people who were disappointed with the race have one of three reasons:
1. RB dominated once again. But you can't really take that out on the event, that's just the whole thing of this season.
2. The end result overall was pretty characteristic for the season. But I think the journey to that result was quite interesting.
3. They don't think it can be a good race if there is no SC drama with some restarts. I call bullshit, IMO this is how racing should be. Drivers gain advantage or disadvantage through strategy, skill or car performance, not some dumb luck. Sometimes that results in a boring race, but this time there was someting to look for at all times. The race victory was not clear for a big portion of the race either (even if Max was far superior at the end), as you had to follow the gap between Max and Checo and gawk at how Max managed to pull away with a hard tyre that was 20 laps older.
If Max wouldn't have been there, the raced would have put everyone to sleep. But watching him easing through the field was quite entertaining. I also was surprised where Russell and Hamilton ended up, considering Lewis needed like 15 laps of DRS usage to overtake someone.
It was a really good race in person, I was at turn 18 and there was so much action happening basically every lap but the tvs kept ignoring it, I feel like a lot of brake locks, passes, and near hits with the wall were missed by the tv directors today
I feel like we missed all the good shots! I want to see what’s happening in the midfield, especially when the race is predictable in the top 3. Also, what was with all the pit lane shots? I want to see drivers perspective on track, not entering the pit?!
On the bright side, I've seen the girl with the pirelli tire headband in t18 more than I've seen cars in that corner.
Excellent tv direction as always /s
Last year, Miami had double the overtakes compared to Silverstone and Suzuka. This year, constant battling and overtaking throughout the race. At some point, it becomes talking shit just for the sake of talking shit.
Happens in a lot of sports. There is so much bias and I'm guilty of it too. If the Montreal GP has like 4 overtakes and one scuff of the Wall of Champions I'll be saying it's legendary.
They also predicted that it was going to be boring so they have to double down on that and ignore what actually happened on TV.
Anytime an underdog like KMag is taking it to Leclerc all race and ends up hanging onto that last point with a death grip I'm interested.
Miami was a good race last year and this year, but Suzuka and Silverstone were better last year due to carnage and more battles higher up the field.
*talking shit just because it's in the US.
Matt, today Verstappen showed he is ahead of everybody else in the same manner that Red Bull is ahead of any other team. It’s not only the car
I'm not quite a Verstappen hater, but I'm definitely not a fan. That said...one would have to be blind to think Max wasn't driving INCREDIBLE today. He seems to be a demon, a driver motivated by anger and frustration. When things get hard, he just drives BETTER. And for that, no matter how many other things about him irritate me, I must show respect. He drove the hell out of that car today. His double overtake was ballsy, bold, and precise. His ability to just eat into Perez's time is unbelievable work.
Today demonstrated the power of the redbull machine AND the power of the man behind the #1 machine. Max's name really says it all dude, he goes max every time.
@@vulpinemachine you seem reasonable, which I think is quitte uncommon for most people who reveal they don’t like Max.
Can I ask what about him irritates you? I’m not saying I don’t disagree from time to time with Max. Brazil was so unnecessary, among other moments.
But it’s not just the exciting performances Max delivers on such a regular base. I also like his forward, no bullshit attitude. What you see is what you get. It may be because I’m Dutch, but with Max I appreciate him being honest almost everytime. That may be too honest to be comfortable for some people. But Hamilton, for example, can be a lot more diplomatic. But still he comes across to me as a way less honest and FairPlay guy than he pretends to be.
@@Klementoso full disclosure: I rarely venture into comments sections for racing content. I find it's safer to discuss topics like abortion or gun control with fellow Americans than it is to discuss anything related to racing! HAHA.
Ok, joking aside. I AM a Hamilton fan, but this is with caveats. I've seen a lot of racing over the years, and I think I've settled on the idea that MOST drivers who win championships or have that capability are probably jerks. LOL. I think Alonso, Hamilton, Verstappen, Vettel, Schumacher, all of them are kind of jerks and all of them are kind of arrogant. And I kind of know that going in, so I'm willing to give each of them room to be the kind of flamboyant personalities they need to be to get the job done, because I think there's something about these strong headed guys that also makes them winners.
I would agree that Hamilton is way more diplomatic, but I don't know that he's a "better" person per se. I love watching Alonso, because when he's a jerk, it's funny. Like...really really funny.
Now, as far as Max goes...you might disagree, and I can respect that, but I find that he lacks some of the professionalism that I've seen in some of those other champions. Like I said, I think they all come across as arrogant and often times rude or self-entitled, but Max sometimes crosses the line of professionalism where it just comes across as poor taste. I particularly don't like his relationship and attitude toward Perez (another person I hardly think is a victim, he can be arrogant himself! HA). But Max does strike me as a little more outwardly selfish, a little less professional, a little bit unkind toward others (and is willing to show it). Over the years it's just these little impolite things that kind stack up and rub me the wrong way.
And by the way, I fully embrace the irony, because when Hamilton first showed up, one of the things I liked about him is how he had tats and piercings and he wasn't a clean cut rich white boy like most F1 racers and I loved that it made people uncomfortable. In some sense, I'm kind of complaining about Max doing the same sorta thing (but in his own way).
Perhaps I'm not being fair, but that Perez slipping to 3rd in the championship last year was the moment that kinda made me go from indifferent to critic. It isn't the one thing I dislike him for, but, it's the one that broke me.
Overall, I can't say a single negative thing about his driving. He drives so well it's scary. He's not just one of the best on the grid today, he might be one of the best the sport has ever seen period. He's good. REALLY GOOD. And for that, I'm never gonna be able to "hate" him. The most I can muster is a mild "dislike". Ha.
I hope his car never fails him and that he gets challenged fair and square by the likes of Hamilton or Alonso. I wanna see a good battle. Max is a worthy opponent for anyone. May his reign be long and may he only fall to someone worthy of the title!
@@vulpinemachine It was the moment when perez stopped eating into the gap and it started growing again. like WHAT? on 40 lap old tires Max was like...time to go MAX
@@murccc Truly an unreal moment. Man had no tires left and just...MAGIC'd some more tires.
The Intro with the Orchestra was Magnificent! Loved it!
Anyone who thinks this race was worse than Baku, is delusional. I also dont agree that there is an issue following, at least at this track. Plenty of cars were racing nose to tail for quite a few turns as drivers were battling. Best example was Russell on one of the Haas cars (I think?) in the 2nd stint. Coming out of turn 17 and stuck nose to tail all the way up to the main straight. The new regs are still working
I thought it was quite a good race. With the pace that Verstappen has, there won't be too many times this season when there's a genuine fight for the lead, so we should appreciate that. Also the battles between Aston Martin, Mercedes, Ferrari, Alpine and Magnussen were all good. Seeing overtakes for points finishes in the dying laps is always nice. Overall I think a 7.5/10 race for me
Great content P1. 1st I enjoyed race. Feed missed a few battles live but some good moves & reply seem to capture them. Then the driver intro, I liked it. It was like watching a car crash, I don’t want it to happen again but couldn’t look away. Just wait till vegas baby!
Fernando: Max will catch me in 25 laps
Fernando during the race: minus 12
This race was very entertaining. Regardless of the P1 outcome, the racing midfield was outstanding.
Shame we barely saw any of it because they were showing one of the Redbulls (on a clear track) 90% of the time...
P1 outcome was also amazing. Max came from P9 to win it. Very very impressive.
my biggest problem with the race was actually the tires. if they're going to have 3 tires, all 3 should be equally viable in different strategies. everyone on the same strategy means tons of overtakes happen in the pits, which is just boring
They all available, but the perfect strategy is med-hard or hard-med, soft is bad choice because the deg. You cannot blame the tire because every track has their own condition
Max could've finished in first without pitting. The hard tires don't degrade enough to have a meaningful falloff. It was the same thing in Baku. One stop races are terrible
It would definitely make things more interesting if it was mandatory to do at least 2 pit stops.
@@birddogz545 I agree but when the FIA made Pirelli make the tires super soft so that they actually wore out so many people bitched and complained. Infinite life tires are SO boring. Some fans want their driver to put on the hards and run a 0 stop if they could do it without getting DQ'd.
The fake water and boats gets me 😂😂😂
That last meme is absolutely amazing 🤣🤣
I thought it was actually a really good race. The intros were goofy but I kind of enjoyed them in a satirical way.
Lots of overtakes and good performances from some of the drivers that had bad qualifying.

That introduction reminded me of that crazy uncle that we have that makes a fool of himself while everybody smiles and waits until it's over.
Intros where dope! LL did a fantastic job! You guys are out to lunch!
I thought it was a pretty decent race. Overtakes, strategic back and forth, battles for position. Yes, the winner was painfully predictable and it's a shame that no one else is even close to Red Bull, but this was an ok race, IMO.
Max's Pace in not talked about enough, he was faster than Perez on 30/35 lap old hards compared to his 10/15 lap old hards. Man was flying
True. Shame though, wish Checo could at least give us the allure of Nico Rosberg-ing Max. Would've been great for him to take the points lead even if we knew it wouldn't survive barring circumstances beyond Max's control. Checo even gained .9 seconds on the pitstop itself in addition to the time lost in traffic by Max from starting 9th.
In some fairness though, the hards->meds proved to be the wildly better strat across the whole field for the most part including Lewis' 13th->6th charge
It was a decent race for the most part. Pretty good racing throughout the field.
That Piastri start giving us hope... For 2 laps
I think the race was good. Lot's of overtaking and racing and defending happening. It did make some good race craft.
Leclerc overtook a (deleted: Haas), and they took it right back the next straight. Next lap Leclerc went for the DRS chicken to take that spot.
Different tactics were great to see. Tire degredation at the start was great. I was on the edge of my seat scared Max's tires would blow up at Lap 35.
I believe I also saw Lewis' tires having a nice blister around lap 20. That makes things more exciting for me.
The main thing that was lacking for me, was a good overview of the race. I had no understanding when everyone came in.
Maybe that is because of the many different strategies.
I've been staying up to watch this for far to long.
Good morning everyone I'm off to bed.
I thought it was alright. Seemed like there was actually a fair amount of overtaking, all things considered. Yeah, the top three ended up exactly how we expected it to, but there were some pretty good midfield battles going on at points. Would've killed for a safety car though.
I fell asleep halfway through and woke up for the last 2 laps 😂😂😂😂
Race weekend isn’t complete until Matt’s race recap!!
Having attended the race, I thought it was awesome. It was an unbelievable atmosphere, it was a lot of fun, and I was blown away by the attendance. Racing could have been a little better and I agree, there’s just something missing with the track keeping it from being a stellar race.
Magnussen doing to Leclerc what Leclerc did to Max in Bahrain 2022 😅😂
as a ferrari fan, similar to baku, the race is always exciting due to the tension and fear of when the engine blows up, strategy blunder, leclerc crashes or a combination of all three. however, instead of feeling elated for getting P3 in Baku, I was just depressed.
It was not so shitty there were overtakes for the lead in the midfield lewis, max,George made some amazing moves
We can say right now that 2023 is 2015 all over again?
And I’m a Williams and a Lotus fan :D (at this moment I feel no pain anymore)
Miami was fun today. Not an all timer but probably the best race so far this season. Kmag embarrassing Charles for 40+ laps was hands down the best thing yet in 2023.
Hey guys, I've got a video idea. I'd love to see you guys do an explainer video on how the Parc Ferme rules apply when a car has crashed during qualy. Would love to see how teams fix their cars while still adhering to the Parc Ferme rules and not change the setup while replacing broken parts.

The people saying the race was bad aren't able to separate the off track cringe from the fact that the actual race was good
Or they want to shit on Miami on principle.
Or, they just thought it was a bad race?
This was an amazing race with a bunch of overtaking and such a solid performance from max
6:02 Matt becomes the Templar helper from Diablo 3.
Sainz was like wtf are we doing in the intros
I think the race was pretty damn good overall. Kmag was NOT going down without a fight.
The K-Mag/Leclerc fight was the highlight of the race. A lot of fun.
Eagerly waiting for this review.... Made my day (7:50 AM here in India)
I'm fully convinced that no matter WHAT happened today with the race and everything around it, there would be tons of people complaining about it. Including Matt at times. Everyone I see on twitter has no idea what they actually want and will be unhappy no matter what.
Hopefully Matt & Tommy announce some merch soon
This Miami race was actually sweet. Decent overtakes and Aston got 3rd 🎉🎉🎉
I thought it was a good race, plenty going on. The common thread among those that disagree seems to be they want carnage and don’t see the value in midfield battles.
There were sooo many moments that the tv NEVER bothered to show, even with a simple reply. At 1 point they went to a camera just watching Perez drive down the back straight alone and in the background you can see 2 cars side by side in the breaking zone, tyres locked up and smoking with an overtake happening and that's ALL we saw of it.....
Did Matt shave between his eyebrows 😂 can’t stop focusing on it
It was a decent race all things considered, plenty of battles and the strategy convergence was cool to see. They can't all be world class, but this was certainly far better than Baku. Anyone saying this was one of the most boring races they've ever seen really needs to think about whether F1 is the sport for them. It's not all about the winner, but about the other 19 cars too.
Just give Max the title and RB the constructor’s title now too
I love that Fresh Prince meme
This race was good. Interesting strategy, many on track fights, lots of overtakes, sometimes back and forth.
Also they followed well trough the high speed and quite well through the chicane
Not a big fan of the Miami circuit and all the ´merican "entertainment", but the race was not too bad.
Enjoy the masterclass driving from Max, it will be one of the races he will be remembered by in the future when he´s acknowledged as one of the all time greats. P9 to P1 and getting more than 5 seconds on your team mate, also doing a double overtake!
Hey Matt!! Regarding the TRACK, you have to think about the fact that it does not have gravel, therefore it takes away and changes the risk a driver takes when for example going for an overtake, but as well in many more occasions, as you could also push more in qualy without getting stuck in the gravel..as well as avoid carnage when being pushed off the track..
That overtake Yuki did in the outside, very good
It was a solid race. Overtaking happened in all 3 drs zones. 7/10.
I dont get the hate for the driver intro's. Its wasnt THAT bad. People just love to hate. I reckon it wouldve gotten a better reception at a race such as Silverstone.
De Vries is turning into a Delatrazz 🤣🤣
Tommys tasty tweet had me laughing so hard
If you thought this race was "bad" this sport isn't for you..
I've been watching since 2007. The race was crap, and so is the season. Cope.
Brilliant race, best one this year. Max showed his masterclass, just out of this world.
I feel like Fermando, at 41 years old is having the best time of his life and that brings me quit e a bit of joy ! I love a smiling Fernando !
Ok i feel glad not staying awake for this event at 2 AM.
I really enjoyed this race, and I took note of the things you always complain about when it is not there, and apart from not having rain, chaos, carnage and potential deaths, it had everything else.
So again, I've asked this before, never get an answer, hope I get an honest one for once maybe:
What the hell do you want then? What would make a great race? Why does only the front matter to you? Why always complain about lack of overtakes, when there was literally a shitload of overtakes?
Why do you even watch F1, when again, you hate 80% of F1?
