Here's the fascinating thing about Ghirahim. He's so utterly different from Fi. He's got an extremely flamboyant personality, looks almost human, and for hundreds of years was happily ruling the surface world as a demon lord.
Being away from his Master for so long he grew far beyond a sword being, he became an individual, and yet at the very end ALL of that is stripped away. He gives up everything he is to fight you, to return to his true form, and in the end becomes nothing more than a weapon for Demise once again.
Your comment is excellently written, it summerizes what singularity Ghirahim is up to, he is a very interesting vilain, especially the part when you say that he independently became an individual free from a lot of rules and morals laws, but he is unflinchingly loyal to his original master and will never forget that he is a living sword, but despite that condition, it is absolutely not a threat in existing entirely as a unique person, the pride of Ghirahim is just amazing
if you look closely at his final form. you can see that Ghirahim resembles Fi. they are both spirits residing in swords. Fi being in the Skyward Sword and Ghirahim being in Demise's sword. even the two swords look the same but one is good and pure while the other is dark and twisted.
But, tbh, I loved Demise's sword

Ghirahim is also the exact opposite of Fi, straight down to his personality, being independent and bombastic, whereas she's subservient and robotic. It’s actually kind of disappointing the game doesn't actually do more than imply some kind of connection between them

I've always loved Ghirahim as a villain, and now I finally realize it's because he's a 100% a Jojo character. For someone who is your enemy he is just as interested in putting on a dramatic show as he is in his real objective.

Ghirahim could literally teleport anywhere & not once thought to just teleport behind link while he's busy & quickly stab him through the chest
That goes against the type of person he is, on the one side you have the sadist who wants to beat him into a pulp, the other is his, quote, honorable and dignified side, the type that means no low blows or dirty tricks. Not to mention, he loves playing with peoples head the fear that he could be behind you would seriously mess up how you fight

I liked Girahim, the flamboyance, the sadist, the creepiness, and the startling dignity he has. All of it makes him a far better villain than Demise ever is, while Demise is cool and I would’ve loved more screen time with him(screw the Imprisioned) Ghirahim strikes me as a better fool to Link just for the fact he likes playing with his head, I honestly want to see Ghirahim return in some form, maybe Ganondorf resurrects him and uses him as both a servant and sword.

I would love a remake- nay, a retelling of OoT that incorporates Ghirahim as a direct mediator to Ganondorf's plans.

Easily my favorite zelda villain, top ten of my favorite viedo game villains. The writers did an increible job with him.
I loved the second fight, and when I bear him I was like, "noooo! I was having fun! Come back!"
Really hope he comes back to be the main villain in a future game.

I just played this game two weeks again after 7 years. Felt good to finally be able to beat Ghirahim first battle.
