переслушал, да что-то есть! Видимо, совсем нет идей у дедов, Ричи давал хитовые Рифы, ныне берут всё вторичное! Им пора давно закрыть проектД.П. собраться на прощальный концерт с Ричи(если договорятся!) с Кавердейлом(он в отличной форме) и Хьюз на басе(он самый легко/договариваемый!) и сыграть двумя составами с двумя отделениями!
From their 2021 "in isolation" album, none of them could go to the studio, so each did their part, and sent them in, it's a covers album since they couldn't get together to write, so they did songs each knew.

The first version of this that hit my radar was The Rockets out of Detroit. I went backwards and discovered Peter Green and the original version. I enjoy DP's version as well as Slash's take on it.
I saw The Rockets at the Toledo Jam. They rocked!!

Love Deep Purple and this was indeed a great cover of a great Peter Green Era Fleetwood Mac song. If you like this cover, and the original version with Peter Green?I strongly recommend a cover by a group from the 70s called The Rockets. Definitely worth checking out. I believe they also did a great cover of Golden Earring's less well known hit "Candy's Going Bad." Good stuff, if you like 70s hard rock/heavy metal. Another group that should have been huge and just never quite got there. Sadly. (Or maybe that was The Gods. Sometimes mixed them up with The Rockets.)

You do realize Peter Green wrote the song he was the original singer guitarist is Fleetwood Mac, Mick had nothing to do with this.

Simon is a killer player - Scottish - awesome blues and acoustic besides being able to rock it out. Met him at a PRS Experience and he played bass for a friend (unknown just playing for the crowd by sign up - on a side stage - for a lark.... great person, not a rock star.....Loved Steve Morse, and Simon is a great replacement. Glad to see they are giving it another whirl, and they sound like Deep Purple - how awesome is that?

No, Steve is not back (unfortunately)....apparently the video is new but the song was recorded with Steve in 2021. Steve is currently touring with another Dregs reunion, Purple will be touring this summer with Simon McBride on guitar
