Will Charlie Woods be as good as his father? Please Subscribe to the channel to support us🥺
Not likely. There are a lot of us that shot low scores when young. Olde men are in awe of a kid that can shoot 75. It means nothing. I doubt he will be one of the final 200 or so. Too rich and won't have daddy's work ethic.
never say never
I will say never
You guys are bunch of narcissistic jokes!!!
He does have daddy’s work ethic and Daddy tells him straight what’s up and keeps him humble.
As a golf enthusiast since the early 70’s, I was fortunate enough to have witnessed Tiger Woods’s entire career and truly believed there would never be another one like him in my lifetime. But now watching Charlie at such a young age accomplishing what he has, makes me believe lightning can strike twice in this game. I know I won’t live long enough to see his career fully play out, but I’ll be around long enough to witness something historical.
Every good father’s dream is to see his son do better than the dad has ever achieved. I think this is so cool.
He will never be as good as tiger
hes not even the best golfer around his age. dont believe the hype
I got him winning 2 majors by 22 years of age. When this kid hits 17 he's gonna be a monster. I would put money on him winning more majors than anyone. Tiger was awesome to watch. Can't wait to see Charlie in the PGA
There are no signs Charlie will be a major star. Looking at him, I wonder who his father is.
Haters will always hate love you Charlie ❤❤❤❤❤
That would be awesome to watch. The only question I have on Charlie is: Is he as hungry as his father was? Does he really want what his father achieved? Well see.

@@ednabeckwith8185
He shot 86 in his last try at qualification. Long way from winning majors.
Let me tell you one thing ,
There is nothing more joyfull watch your kids performing and surpassing you you will be crying and laughing and smiling at the same time watchinv your kid's personality growing and eventually your son becomes a man , its the most joyfull moment in any father's life . I hope charlie woods carry's on the wonderfull legacy of his father , the best golfer of our time after ben hogan
My dad didn't take up golf until his late 50's. The happiest I ever saw him was the first time he beat me at golf. RIP dad.
I'm 61 now but I'll always remember exactly where I was on my lunch break on the Wednesday before the start of the 1997 Masters. I was Westbound in my car stopped at a red-light at the intersection of Coliseum and Coldwater roads. I had a sports radio station playing and on comes this guy with the most condescending "let me school all you ignorant morons out there" voice he could muster telling us there is NO WAY Tiger Woods is going to win the Masters. He had a long litany of expert, learned reasons and arguments that he was happy to lower himself by educating the unwashed masses like me in the listening audience. I remember that guy really pissing me off.
Fast forward one day to Thursday and I was hoping Tiger would make guys like that arrogant radio commenter eat a heaping pile of crow. After the 40 on the front nine my hopes were at a low point. Then came the back nine 30 and Tiger's history making recording breaking low score for the Masters Tournament!
I have no idea who that arrogant SOB radio commenter was, but I'll be thinking of him and all the guys like him as Charlie starts his career.
Brandel Chamblee most likely. He spent like 15 years hating on Tiger even though he was far and away the best player in the game.
61 is a little old to be a fanboy.
It will be a surprise to me if Charlie becomes a good pro. Good Instruction only carries you so far.
@Mister8224 look how far it carried Tiger.
@@remoevans7847that was nearly 30 years ago..
Thanks for posting. Post more please.⛳️👍
We will see. Exciting to see Tiger so enthused and proud about his son Charlie’s progress and achievements.
I followed tigers career since he won his first U.S. Amateur, and hated to see the injuries that muted his career, it is absolutely a miracle to see a another tiger (Charlie) come right behind Tiger and see him almost duplicate the things Tiger has done in his childhood, it’s amazing to see, I just hope and pray he can endure the challenges ahead and play on the PGA Tour.
A very talented young golfer....l hope he goes on to reach with his obvious ability his full potential, more importantly to have a happy and healthy life😊😊😊
Precisely, no womanizing! 🤣🤣🤣
Charlie Woods has everything he needs to be great in the sport of golf
Understand how good Tiger got with the direction from his father's support and the coaching available to him prior to college at Stanford
Then realize that Tiger can provide infinitely greater support for Charlie
Charlie has shown natural talent and desire to learn, his father has emphasized focus in his training regimen
The future holds nothing but promise for this young man, and I for one, look foward to what he can accomplish if he wants it enough to set his mind to achieving his goals
I think the last time I have seen this level of 2nd generation talent was in baseball with Ken Griffey & Ken Griffey Jr
At this very young age, If he can get atleast 98 % his dad’s passions and dedications to the golf sport then there is no doubt that he will become one of the greatest player to ever play the golf.
Charlie will have every possible advantage to forge a golf career if that is what he wants.
Career lol - maybe as a bookkeeper but not a golfer
The amount of pressure on him is crazy, it would drive me crazy
Yes. Tiger proved to be a great role model. Don’t forget that.
Sarcasm right?
Not many Sons prove to be as good as their Father were. Hope Charlie can thrill us the way Tiger did.
I agree with Tiger's philosophies on training, Charlie. Good players play blades, not those ridiculous power bats. Don't push him too hard. He doesn't need injuries at such a young age.
He wii stay grounded and humble. Tiger will see to that and understands from personal experience what can happen if not
Leave him alone. He's a youngster. Let him enjoy the game.
I am in agreement with you. Why put pressure on the kid. Let him enjoy as we watch.
Says no parent of anyone who has ever been a world great at anything.
@@AnthonyMcCulley That's Eldrick's job to push him as he sees fit. The nobodies who showed up at that tournament and made a spectacle of themselves were way out of line.
@@paulcoffland8673 I misunderstood. Totally agree with that. Whatever "pressure" that is put on him should be from those in his circle. That being said, I think its fair to say the Woods family are putting him out there a bit... they know that will add pressure.
This young man will do more for golf than has happened in years. He’s going to be something to watch. Can’t wait!
We hope so, my man
Same here
I just hope he enjoys golf as much if not more than his Father! The pressure to be as great as is probably more than just becoming a touring pro! Continued Blessings for Charlie!
excellent content 😊
I think it is wonderful to see Tiger and his son enjoying time together and bond on the golf course. The pressure being put on Charlie is quite a burden especially that there are no so many other extremely talented young athletes that Charlie would have to go up against.
Started golfing 3 years ago - I also started with blades, I literally found an entire bag and set of clubs in someone's trash on the side of the road, The irons were all super thin blades. Doesn't take long to get used to them and forces you to be more accurate... Why would you not want to learn with a tool that forces you to be more accurate? Whilst only ensuring you can hit with any other style iron. I'm a +12 Avg. in 3 years of play in Michigan so really only a year and a half of seasonal casual golf. Golf season just started here and I'm still using blades I just like how they feel.
I hope the media leaves this kid alone so he doesn't burn out from harassment
Very impressive...from the Philippines
Just love watching Charlie it’s like watching the best of all his Dad Tiger Woods❤❤❤
Not a chance he will eclipse his father's records.
Did the narrator really start the video by saying "what's the secret to his success?"??? LOLOLOLOLOL
IF he can stay humble...he will go far.
Very good storytelling. I hope the kid makes all the right moves.
There is no doubt he will carry on the Legacy and have success of his own. He's only 14. His future is bright considering he has the best coach on the planet
U know wat plano plano Charlie aye
Enjoy ur game and ur time with ur dad.
Could you imagine what Jack and Arnold could have done with this technology??!!!!!
Yes he will.
Tiger told Charlie Swing like Rory don’t swing like me
Chasing the 🐐
Charlie Woods played in a PGA Tour pre-qualifier for the Cognizant Classic at age 15 in Feb 2024, shot 86 and did not advance. Credit for the attempt but he has a ways to go.
give the kid a break he is only fifteen years old
He would of still beat you.
@@mikeellis2025 Of course he would these people that knock a fifteen yeard old most likely can't break a hundred.
I'm certainly no golf expert and have never been any great shakes with clubs in my hands, but I've watched golf since the mid 80's. One thing I know for sure is that nobody had ever seen anything like Tiger Woods when he burst onto the scene with that 12 stroke victory at the '97 Masters. At that time, guys like Craig Stadler were playing competitively while being that out of shape. It was a different game then. When Tiger came along, it took 10 years for the sport to catch up to him again. He changed the game that much. No doubt, Charlie has the makings of a top tier golfer, but I think the days of any golfer winning 10 plus majors are gone forever. It's just too competitive now. Charlie is entering a golf landscape that is much, much harder to be a dominant force in than when his dad came up. With all that being said, I still wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll be tuning in like everyone else.
“What’s the secret to Charlie’s success?”
His fucking last name.
He has all the skills he 😮 still 15
Nice to see young adults achieving success.
All successful people needs a strong mental game.
Children wants to be like the parents… Tiger is giving his son a chance to be a great golfer..
It’s important Tiger set good examples of how to behave…and be around people..
Possibility is high. But he is tigers don the pressure and the spot light is high too. He is only 15 yrs old and thst can be a lot. Tiger was a ‘no body’ so he had no pressure. But it’s obvious the talent is there and his dads experience, knowledge and support is invaluable.
Professional golf becomes more competitive every year. That being said, I would imagine having every advantage in the sport at a young age will propel him to the tour.
It’s been said before , Charlie has the tiger blood !😂
Tiger was winning U.S.G.A. Championships at Charlie’s age. His trajectory is not the same.
It all depends on when Tiger turns him pro. I'd leave him alone until he's at least 17.
That doesn't mean he can't play a tournament against pros, here or there, just to test the waters
The real problem is he's walking into a world of high expectations. The whole world will expect greatness from him. He's had a lot handed to him. Pressure to be the best will also be on his golden plate
What I like seeing is Tiger trying to help Charlie to become a better man than he was.
He is ranked nos 1442 in AJGA rankings ,anything is possible but golfers have as much chance of getting hit by a meteorite as they have of making the PGA Tour ,Tiger won the US Junior Amateur at 15 the youngest ever at that time etc etc ,he is getting a lot of exposure but at 15 he should be way up in the rankings ,I would bet he will end up being a nice recreational golfer the grind of being a club pro would not appeal to him.
No one knows yet if this kid has his dad’s chops, but it’d sure be entertaining as hell if he did. I’m from Oklahoma and early in Tiger’s career I knew several people that didn’t like him because he was black. Undoubtedly racist, but that was the case. Before to long however even the bigoted ones were tipping their hats. Charlie won’t have to overcome the that, his dad already did. So he will be free to build a large throng of fans quicker than even Tiger. I can feel that energy around him, the people can’t wait for this kid to arrive. If he has “it” it’ll be a lot of fun to watch.
I just hope he doesn’t get burned out or overwhelmed by the pressure and the inevitable comparisons when he goes pro and I can tell you right now if he wants to he absolutely will be on tour someday he’s got resources and knowledge available to him most people could only dream of he’s a lot more sophisticated a player at that age than most people the way he plays even when a whole bunch of people are watching from a very early age I think it’s only a matter of time before we see him out there without pops
Hopefully he doesn't get michelle wie'd
I’ll watch golf to see how this kid does for sure. The ultimate key for longevity, stay humble and stay away from Las Vegas
This wil be good. I remember back in the day there was nothing better than sitting on the couch on a Major Sunday and watch Tiger at work. Hoping to witness and enjoy this again with Charlie
While you have to like his chances, there's one thing to consider. Certainly not taking anything away from Tiger, my favorite golfer. In his early days he did compete against a lot of "beer bellies" lol! But that has all changed now since Tiger brought so much attention to the tour and the prize money went WAY up because of Tiger. Now all these young guys have at least a little bit of Tiger in them and they are much harder to beat than back in the "olden days of the beer belly". But Charlie? Again, you have to like his chances. Driving a ball 355 at 15? You cannot be serious lol!
Don’t forget about the lifestyle lessons Daddy Tiger, golf can get in the way of life but life is not a game🙏🏿🇺🇸🏆
My dad got me blades growing up 😂
AT 15 Charlie outdrives all pros. He will be champ one day soon.
I'm sure Charlie wants to make his father proud, but I hope he's doing kid stuff first. I don't think Tiger ever had a chance to be a kid. With nothing but practicing and all the pressure to do well, I can't imagine what it must have been like for Tiger. Be a kid first. Just my take. Best of luck to Charlie.
You think that’s why Tiger was such a womanizer? Maybe his mother will keep him on the rails.
I am expecting the "Jos Verstappen" effect with this kid. 🏆
I can't wait for the next decade to pass ...god bless you tiger
Good😊
i have a feeling that Charlie is his own man. Tiger is a great influence, and i pray that they both will represent the PGA and not go into the LIV...
Charlie does have all the pressures of being his son and his expectations he realizes he has to be twice as good and still will take criticism. He has been dealing with those pressures and how to deal with it.
WOW what a golfer. Saw this link while watching a Mentally Golf video on You Tube. He is awesome.
We knew Charlie would play he will pave his own career for sure however his dad is the goat and always will be; let's see Charlie come from the trees, from the rough to make birdie or par then I will say yes
Hopefully young Charlie learns from dad's mistakes as well. Maintain decorum, Charles, and the world will beat a path to your door. You have a rare and privileged start.
Charlie will never be as good as his father, who even makes a statement like that, ridiculous! Tiger may be the best of all time! If his son even makes on tour would be a phenomenal achievement. I feel sorry for the pressure he will be under, every step of his journey.
Charlies 5' 11"! He must have had some growth spurt in the last year. Tiger is 6'1", not 6'10".
Lol, no such chance. Yes, he has a great swing, but the field of excellent players has grown immensely. I doubt anyone will ever dominate like Tiger did during his run
I Believe he will
Where yf have I been? I had no fckn idea Charlie was out there killing the game. Wow. Much respect
Under a rock. 😂
hes not. hes 5th best golfer on his high school team
Like father like son
5 feet 11 ? no way
That what I though, Tiger is 6.1 Charlie is a head shorter when standing next to him. 5.11..Not.
Referring to how tall he is today. The images in the video are from at least a year ago, with most being two to three years ago.
He still not 5'11 there is no way base on his last PNC Championship photos while playing with Tiger on December 2023 about 3 months ago @@buffalosoldier19d42
He’s not going to be tall maybe 5.6 or 5.7 Tiger was 5.10 when he was 14?
Charlie will be at least as tall as his dad.. so I estimate by 21-22 he'll be 6-1 or 6-2.
Man....I gotta say it....CHARLIES, "stare" in the 1st 10 seconds of this video, is....WAY MORE... "INTENSE & INTIMIDATING" than Tigers is... !!!! He looked like, not even his DAD...would want to take him on....! He had a, "snarl, growl, roar, spit...& bite", in his scowl, eyes & face...! This kid is....DANGEROUS...on the golf course, boyeeeee...!!!😮😮😮
I appreciated how he chose a new clothing brand Nike is a monopoly
Hopefully having a legend for his dad doesn’t burn him out early or the pressure to be as good as dad destroy him. Can he live up to the hype.
He have the dna to be a great golfer someday.
Now that apple didn't fall far from the tree. Yes he will be good, BUT it is not feasible that someone will come along and beat tigers record yet- it's too soon.
I enjoy watching this young man, so young and so awesome at a age of 15 years. Bring it on Mr. Charlie Woods.
He has everything going for him.
He should make it by then.
How did I. Tiger ❤.
So did tiger,
There will never be another Tiger Woods. He is the greatest golfer of all time. Even with the advantage of being Tigers son the game is so difficult it’s unrealistic to expect greatness. He needs to stay in the classroom. We don’t need golfers we need doctors and scientists! He could be the greatest doctor of time. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!
No
Of course he should...!
All i can think of is Michelle Wie, when it comes to putting so much expectation on a young golfers. In almost every professional sport, not many kids are competing with men , so dont rush these youngins, i dont care who they are
Just a kid.
We'll done tiger woods and Charlie woods, charlie will break his dad's record u just wait and see what's coming his a reflection of God given talent and our Lord will reign through him lets encourage & strengthen the wood's family who i love so much. May God bless you abundantly ❤❤❤❤
Poor Charlie is going to have a tough life trying to live up to his father and everyone else’s expectations.
As Curtis Strange once said, “ we’ll see…..”
Charlie shot 86 in a qualifier today.
LOL Always one DB comment..............
@@DROPTINE You disputing facts?
@@markushayes NOPE, just stating one..
@@DROPTINE aight DB
Unfortunately he had a 12 on a par 4, which was his 7th hole. So he basically shot 4 over for 17 holes. Not bad, but only time will tell. The only reason this much is given to him is because of his last name.
Nick Dunlap plays at our course in Birmingham, and no one talked that much about him growing up. He won the Junior Am and the US Am, like Tiger and then as a Sophomore won a PGA event, beating a lot of the great tour pros. He was paired with JT and Burns in the final round, after shooting a 60 on Sat. He is a great player, but there are so many great players on the tour.
As far as Charlie, only time and health will determine his future.
I hope that his Dad will also coach him in his personal behavior, and caution him to use good common sense, and to be a good person. This will give more than golf excellence. 👍
he has all the best coaches and trainers, but he doesnt have the gift like his dad. Tiger was shooting in the 60's at his age, but I hope all the best, if he can handle the pressure then he might make it
Is Charlie teeing off from the championship tees??
In these junior tournaments?????
Or the ladies tee's????
I don't know about Golf, but Baby C you go Baby 😊, people are so proud of you 🎉 I love you and your family, keep up your great work 😊❤
He missed the cut at the junior U.S. Open
Ah a true underdog story 😂😂
How about the media stop pressuring the kid with constant coverage and just let the game develop? Too much?
Kids peak out at different ages. Seen it many a time when a "14 year can't miss" this or that sport to become pro but they don't improve as much as the competition. Time will tell.
He won’t be as consistent as his farther . He has a very difficult task to challenge his dad but hey who knows. He’s heading in the right direction especially at such a young age playing with blades
Amazing that Lydia Ko had won her first pro tournament at the same age Charlie is now?….her record is actually better than tiger regarding winning at an early age
Can't wait to see him on the Tour, I truly enjoyed watching Tiger, I never missed any of Tigers events.
