2023 was an amazing year for the young Charlie Woods. He participated in multiple tournaments without missing out on valuable family time as he had his father Tiger Woods as his caddie. They competed together most recently at the PNC Championship, where they finished fifth, and Charlie’s exponential growth was clear for everyone to see.
But after a solid year of golf, what can we expect from Charlie Woods in the 2024 season?

Charlie is still young and has a long way to improve his game. It is ridiculous to expect him to instantly replicate his father’s achievements. Natural talent still requires a lot of nurturing, encouragement, hard work and dedication. In the very near future these jealous people will have mud in their faces. Let him be, he is only 11 years old and plays the game much better than most people double his age trying to play the game. It is not an easy game to play.

Sheesh, the kid is 14 has yet to play at college level much less the PGA tour, he's played about 23 junior tournaments in a small regional section and has finished in the top 10 3 times. And you're already floating the "legend" moniker on him. There are many thousands of amazing golfers in and around the amateur tours who never make it to the PGA. I know the media will ride this kid like a rented pony, for better or for worse, but I do hope they don't. Give him the space necessary to grow and mature into the game. "He carried 320 yards to the back of the green" 😂
It was a great drive but he simply cut the corner of the dogleg par 4. Probably closer to 280 than 320 carry.

There are guys playing on the PGA who hit it 280 and make a decent living by having a short game and a putter. I think the most difficult task will be keeping his mind in focus with all the distractions that come with being the "sun" of a deity.
