Spider-Man was special guidance counselor at the Jean Grey School. It was not a paid position and is therefore not a job. That is why it wasn't included.
Thanks
Wow, Drake, maybe you have some sort of precognition ability as well, because Peter became (AGAIN!) a photographer at Bugle not so long ago.
e
Okay.
What comic did Peter Wash dishes and what page is it
Just realized Peter is basically a camgirl, selling pictures of himself to pay the rent.
In a skin tight suit, with other people
In very compromising positions
And most of the time he's getting pounded.
WTF are these responses?
If I knew nothing about Spider-Man, this thread would be way more concerning to me. (Although I probably wouldn't have watched this video if that were the case)
That part where you talk about how he became a dishwasher reminded me of that scene in the beginning of Ant Man where we see him talk about how he has a PhD and then in the next shot we see him working at a Baskin Robbin's
Baskin-Robbins always finds out.
@@ComicDrake dammit i was about to...
Love your videos Kennedy! Yours are okay too Drake... just kidding, keep up the great work you two!
He your favorite neighborhood, photographer, web editor, tv entertainer, teacher assistant and science teacher, endorser, researcher, dish washer, mafia personal bodyguard, avengers, Tony Stark protégé, Mayor assistant, Olive branch, Owner of Parker Industry, editor, Uber-swinging, pizzaman and superhero. Spiderman!!!
Don't forget wrestler 😉
You know it sounds as something spidey would say.
Hen The G Oh right! But I put it under entertainer.
Молчаливый Клинок Huh really? I guess it’s just a simple coincidence...
A 1995 Spiderman: Yeah...
Marvel keeps kicking Peter down and I'm amazed at how he is still sane and good. His first appearance he said "One day they'll be sorry they laughed at me" before he got his powers, I would have gone full villain with how much shit Peter has gone through XD.
I mean he does seem to have extreme emotional and mental trauma. Theres a reason why he feels obligated to dress up in red and blue tights and fight crooks even when its detrimental to every facet of his life like an addiction.
Are you joking mate? Dude made a deal a demon/the devil and it was sure luck that it didn't come back the bite him in the ass. And if you read his like very origin orgin he seems like he's five minutes away from becoming a school shooter if he hadn't have gotten bitten buy that damed spider he would well be on his way to evil vill by now I'm sure of that.
@@shmee123ful let's be honest, he still would've been a shooter with those powers, it was Uncle Ben that made him change.
Out of all these jobs I’m genuinely surprised that he’s never considered a career in costume design considering how perfect his first suit was since the only thing that’s really changed about it is the lack of webs under his arms.
Yeah most all his suits are stylish if he could for a second stop thinking of science or photography he could do a killing on modern tech wear
That technically was what he did at Horizons or something similar at least
Movie Peter: You know, I’m something of a pizza boy myself
MasterM niggas who work at dominos

Imagine the people who hire Peter reading his resume. They’d probably just hire the poor guy out of pity.
I feel like the majority would just say he’s WAY to overqualified, just to kick him down even more.
A great video would be "Every Reason Krypton Was Destroyed"

Krypton is the Uncle Ben of planets.
I just laughed at this comment for no reason.
Imagine you’re a student enrolling in a class and the teacher introduces his assistant and you look up and it’s the guy who destroyed a major tech company and lost all his money from it, now his job is to help you with your science homework
Technically Spider-Man is not a photographer he was taking selfies of himself beating up bad guys so he's an instagrammer
Haha. So Marvel pretty much foresaw Instagram and blogging overall.
@@thesketchingson6677 2:30 the seven day's Pics, though it's spelled Pix

I think Peter said that he had a Twitter and Facebook account.
Honestly if he set up an Uber system and swung people around the city when they're late he would definitely turn public opinion in his favor
EDIT: oh my God I just finished the video it's a thing???
Spidey is High IQ
Lol
I loved peter and Mary Jane being married and they were going to have a daughter which was really cute and adorable, heck on the mc2 universe peter became a forensic scientist which was tons of fun.
Personally, I feel Peter Parker should get Get a job that allows him to utilize his science skills.
I'm still pissed Marvel won't let Peter Parker Grow Up. He doesn't need to have to have teen relatability. Just give that to miles have him be the adult Spider-Man for once.
@@dcmarvelcomicfans9458 you and me both man i am still pissed off marvel won't let peter parker grow up and mature and get remarried to his wife mary jane and have there daughter mayday parker spider-girl alive and kicking in the main marvel universe.
@@dcmarvelcomicfans9458 i can agree with that
@@TevyaSmolka indeed. It gets even more complicated when you have people who don't read comics and they're only inspiration is the cartoons and movies with portraying mostly as either high schooler or college kid Spider-Man PS4 and into the spider verse version of Peter B Parker is the only version of giving us an adult Spider-Man PS4 and into the spider verse version of Peter B Parker is the only one that gave us an adult Peter Parker which has given this misconception that the 616 Spider-Man is always supposed to be a teenager which is wrong.
You know, I’m something of a scientist myself.
Impressive. Your parents must be proud.
4:29 CORONA motors!!
7:18 I really didn't see that coming
As someone who has struggled with anxiety over changing jobs, this was strangely calming and inspiring.
No matter what job Peter has he’s always (with a few exceptions) Spider-Man!
Lots of research clearly went into this! Awesome video, Drake!
How many times can one man's life be ruined!? I get the whole working-class hero thing but at this rate, he's more of a working-class hero with multiple scandals and poor work history attached to him.
"Spider-Man is the ultimate working class hero"
Yeah as much as I love MCU Spidey they seem to have forgotten that entirely.
TheSmashMaster9000 1: High schoolers take part time jobs all the time.
2: Yeah, the connection to the ultra rich billionaire and the fact that the villains of both Homecoming and Far From Home being average working class people with legit grievances against Stark and the rich in general, with the second one being treated as a complete joke
That's fine though we got ant man for that... that barely function man know as scout Lang "welcome to bascon and robin's "
alaster boneman Except in the comics Ant Man was never supposed to be the hero of the working class
MCU spider is so different from 616 spider that I consider him a different character entirely. Job, motivation, friends, even personality (MCU spiderman is a well mannered soft boy, 616 spiderman was a sarcastic bitter nerd with good intentions until he matured into a sarcastic manchild with hope), all is different, only the power set is the same.
MatAle Albiach MCU Spider-Man has pretty much every aspect of his character outside of his ethnicity is directly lifted from Miles
I still remember when I picked up Spectacular Spider-man 247 in the 90s. I was so relieved to know the Clone Saga was in the rear view mirror and no matter how bad future writers for Spider-man would be, nothing could ever outmatch that horrible cash grab. Then came One More Day.
That moment when you realize that Spider-Man was the Inspiration for Onlyfans
Hold on, WHAT????

Corona Motors? Drake, you fool! You don’t realize how funny that is now! 🤣
"corona motors" i bet they're going bankrupt
4:24 That hits differently now
You know he'd probably not be in all this hassle of job hopping if he just took pics of things other than Spider-Man as well. Think about it, he'd probably last up to the buyout of the Bugle, but then Robbie would've been able to find him a lot easier for Frontline. Then he'd probably be able to get into Horizon once May was with JJJ's father. Sure, Doc Ock would get in the way of things still, but a lot of hurdles would have been dealt with if he was just a bit more versatile.
4:24 what an unfortunate name

Can we give my boy Peter a break.? Goddamm he's had it rough.
Probably a good thing you explained and mentioned the Pizza Time thing.
Watching this in quarantine, the part about corona motors is 20x funniner.
This is the definition of why stop reading comic books. The god Damn status quo. Everything goes back to square one. So nothing really matters
I mean, some things have changed. Superman married Lois snd has a kid. Dick Grayson is Nightwing instead of Robin. There have been other Robins who grew up and have their own identities. And that's all I can think of, so forget what I said.
@@christiancrusader9374 Except that they aged up Superman's son to an adult so they could get rid of the "father raising his son" dynamic cause Bendis is convinced that people prefer the Status Quo
@@MobiusMundUr Huh. I knew Bendis' run was crap, but I didn't think he was that stupid. From what I saw, everyone loved the father dynamic. Maybe they'll fix it.
That's one of the reasons why I don't read comic books. (Even when I watch a superhero film and have a brief superhero phase.)
On top of that, the sheer number of issues these series have is something I find intimidating. Especially when dealing with series that have been lasting for decades. Like a never-ending sitcom or soap-opera.
Not to mention all the comic book series dedicated to alternate timelines.
At most I read the occasional comic book pannel I stumble across online. Sometimes I'll read summaries written by avid comic readers. From the looks of it, readers seem to have a love-hate relationship with comics. The quality of these stories seem to improve or diminish depending on the author. Other times, a storyline can seem promising, only to have a lackluster ending, or worse.
I'm not a fan of how some writers trash certain characters. Nor am I a fan of how they break up long-standing couples because they find stable relationships boring.
I'm not sure if I'll ever get into reading comics. Sometimes I just want to watch a superhero movie that adapts the spirit of the source material, while also doing its own thing. If that makes me a "fake" fan, so be it.
(Power to those who *have* read decades worth of comics. I'm genuinely impressed.)
@@misseli1 That's why DC has reboots and jumping on points. At this point, you only need to go back to Rebirth #1. If anything important happened before, they'll mention it. Start with a character, keep going.
You forgot Spider-man’s most iconic job, A MENACE AND A CRIMINAL!!!
A recent issue said Peter was in his mid 20s. I’d like to know how old he actually is with all the events that happened in his life
I'm pretty sure he was born in '47, for what it's worth.
@@Butter-Milk its just that them saying hes still in his mid 20s would put the clone saga, becoming a school teacher, civil war, spider island, dying, coming back to life, becoming a billionaire, losing it all and the spiderverse events all happened in a couple year span, which is totally illogical, especially when he was a billionaire with Parker Industries for more than a year canonically
@@inizilla_fk7 I would peg him in his early to mid 30s by this point. The way they portray Normie Osborn as a preteen is basically them saying that Peter is in his 30s cause I'm pretty sure Normie was born when Peter was 22-24.
So basically, Peter Parker has been a photographer for the bugle, a photographer for the bugle, and a photographer for the bugle.
Some of the peter Parker photos are at an angle in which only Spider-Man could’ve taken them it’s pretty obvious when you look at them
But if classic Spider-Man has a spider drone like Tom Holland Spider-Man has then the drone can take photos of Spider-Man’s antics from reasonable distances and wirelessly transfer them to peter Parker’s phone or camera or whatever the fuck he’s using
This is part of the reason why I love the Holland gadgets they solve various problems I had with the classic Spider-Man
Oh wow, JJ would have a field day with Spiderman being a paid mofia bodyguard
This entire channel is just burning answers to questions I never thought to ask, I love it😁
I just realized that lots of spider man characters are named Ben
Hell Peter Parker middle is Benjamin
I'll I credit Peter for burning Parker industry's to the ground to stop hyrda cap and doc Oct form doing evil with the tech. If I recall correctly when Peter got back in his body he started running Parker industry's into the ground, as didn't he like invade latvalua and piss off shield or kind try and replace shield. Peter Parker has a long proud history of being the smartest dumb ass in any give situation
You got to give him credit for Parker Industries. After all, isn't he the one that made it into a Multi-billion dollar company. Sure Doc Ock manipulated the markets, but Peter was the one to discover the inventions. That is one of the reason why I loved that storyline. Peter finally decided to use his brain to help the world worth saving for.
I have no time now to watch this video, but I'd like to say this: I recently started a Spider-Man run, just because I loved the idea of Peter becoming a teacher.
Does Peter having worked as a teacher at the Jean Grey school in Spider-Man in the X-Men? I might have missed that since I'm watching this at work.
He was a one-time gust lecturer.
5:10
Whoever drew Parker's face that way should never be able to work in the comic book industry, especially at Marvel.
Can you do one for Diana Prince? I absolutely love her history of multiple working class and veteran and military work.
Haven't even finished the video and still know it gonna be great
So Horizon came from the comics. Disney channel had a really underrated Spider-Man series in 2016 where it is the school he attends.
You mean 2017 and that show suck
This is spectacular! How in the heck did you do the required research for this comprehensive list? Well done, mate!
Lots and lots and lots of stressful research. Easily the hardest video I have ever made.
Sometimes it really annoys me how convoluted comics can get.
Like he said, "Because comics."
4:24 um... Corona?
Must have one hell of a resume
Why didn’t he hire Tony Stark to close those back doors?
I think you forgot when he was working for Norah winters at threats and menaces
Look at the release date of this video.
Oh sorry
Ever since the Dishwasher position, writers were consistently making Peter terrible at every job he would go on to have. I hope things turn around for his career.
I'm guessing it's time to buckle in for a rapid fire marathon based on that title and what I know about Peter.
Endlessly entertaining stuff
this was super fun to think he had so many jobs of varying kinds and to think he would go back to several of them several times I had honestly never seen that panel where they tell Peter we have money and he says thank God but yeah that is kind of funny
The subject I didn’t know I wanted to learn about today
5:12 WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? THE LEADER? HECTOR HAMMOND? DR. PSYCHO?
Good video Drake!
I have no idea why the writers haven't made Peter a forensic police officer yet. It would be perfect : he would use his secret identity to help solve murders and be able to take credit for it, while using his scientific knowledge. I know that's basically Barry Allen's job too but come on, how many super-heroes have been journalists ?
13:09 funniest panel in this whole video
Damn 3 videos in one week? Respect.
You should do a video on all of MJ's jobs.
I love when Peter Tryin so hard to get money in shitty job when he was young...but past 25 Peter cmon.. He doesn't gave to be ceo of Parker industries but at least he needs good paid job and doesn't require his full time...like online shop for example
Its sad that spider man has to take other jobs to buy ingredients to make webshooters and pay bills but some jobs dont last long
"Spider-man is the definition of a working class super hero"
Dr Octopus: Bruh
So wait...Did Octavius plagiarize his own paper?
Yes.
Spider-Man could create a bank account with out revealing his identity.
Every time it's brought up that doc ock was pissed that Peter never finished school I can't not laugh. He's only mad because he's a scientist and promotes education despite being Crazy evil
Wasn't Spider-Man a teacher at the Xavier's school for the gifted? I could've sworn it happened, but does it not count 'cause he didn't get paid?
He was a one time guest lecturer.
@@ComicDrake aw, ok that makes sense. Thanks for responding! I appreciate it.
I always hated the idea of Peter as a billionaire. If I knew it ended with Peter giving up his company and riches, I'd have always praised the storyline.

I never realized Pete had so many jobs oh my
Wow... the writers really like making Peter's life horrible ^^;
I can't help but think he'd have an easier time if he was a public hero outside of the accords mess...
"My life is a never ending cycle of pain and misery".
Wow Spider-Man had a lot of jobs
“Corona Motors”
You should do a video about him finally getting his degree when it happens
Corona motors😂
I hate how Marvel refuses to let Peter Parker evolve. Just as soon as he gets a job at Horizon Labs or his own company, some boneheaded writer or editor will get nostalgic for the broke and luckless version from the #1960's and have him reset to square one. He can't keep doing that forever.
Lol when people say "Spider-Man was never Iron man's sidekick in the comic" Comic Drake is there to correct them
Well, actually, the correct word is "protege".

He may have worked for a drunk, uncaring, dangerously irresponsible, cold and heartless Stark later in his life, but Peter had already established himself as quite a powerful superhero by that time.
