Depending on your region you may find that out of the box the max speed on your scooter is limited. This video shows how to change the max speed setting, select from 20km/h. 25km/h or remove limit.
Turn On
Press both buttons for 2 seconds
Press Menu 4 times to access P4
Press Power button
Press Menu button to select max speed

mine doesnt let me go to settings, when i press both buttons it just turns off. what to do?

Does this effect the range of the scooter?

yes of course, if you're going faster then you're using more power so the battery will drain faster
