- The Infamous Tacoma Ebay Front bumper was premiered in a scandalous thread on Tacomaworld.com and this video summarizes the 300 pages that developed.
Also, this video outlines how you can bolt the 2nd Gen Tacoma bumper onto a 4th gen 4runner with very little modification. The new Harbor Freight Badland Apex 12,000 lb winch is also mounted to the bumper with a few mounting adjustments necessary.
We also study the various mounting designs from other companies to point out the weak points of the Ebay offroad bumper and why we feel Demello off road bumpers offer one of the best designs for mounting a bumper on your Toyota 4runner, Tacoma, or FJ Cruiser.

I bought an eBay bumper for under $400, I have already hit trees, winched my way out of mud pits and bumper still great

Do you have a skid plate in conjunction with this? Wondering which one to buy. Also, any plans for a rear bumper?
No skid plate yet but plenty should work. Im going to run the dirtcom hitch mounted tire swing in the rear as soon as we get production finalized.
Love the 80's music! Need DV8 to come up with a knockoff 5th gen 4Runner tire mount rear bumper. They run 3k everywhere else.

@Gussell I just installed it on my ‘03 and just realized that the car has turn signals at the bottom of the OEM bumper next to the fog lights, have you figured out what’s the best solution for that?

What kind of lift kit do you have on that 4runner I’m trying to lift 05 rumner
I was running 3rd gen Tacoma TRD Offroad spring and shocks up front (2" lift) with FJ cruiser rear spring amd shock (1/2" lift). That's the cheapest best lift. If you want better bilstein 5100 or dobinsons are great!
did you have to change your suspension for the bumper?
It did lower the front quite a bit. Surprisingly the 700lb Tacoma springs handle it pretty good. Temporarily on a spacer lift from Bison Offroad until i buy a full suspension setup. Been offroading with the spacer lift a few times and im actually pretty happy with the ride, but definitely want full suspension setup to get more travel.
So if I order this from the eBay link in your description it will actually come and it will be maybe halfway decent? I’ve been seeing this forever and just don’t want to get ripped off. I know I’ll get what I pay for but I just wanna be sure I actually get SOMETHING haha.. thanks!

It's thick metal all around so it's pretty heavy. 150 to 170 pounds

-295/70/17 Milestar Patagonia on 5th gen TRD wheels. NO SPACER.
- 2017 Tacoma TRD front springs and shocks. Rear FJ Cruiser springs and shocks. Temporarily running Bison Offroad spacer lift until I buy a full system.
-Ebay front and Harbor Freight Apex Winch.
