If it were not for the risk of being misunderstood and misconstrued by political players and hence become wasted, he could take up the role of a presidential advisor by popular demand/nomination

  • @terrancebaloyi3921
    @terrancebaloyi3921 Před 3 lety

    Interesting interview I must say. Very mind intriguing. It left questions in my mind...
    1. As the journey towards this new society that is the antithesis of Apartheid is being persued, as the youth what is the best way to disengage the illusion presented upon us( democracy instead of conquered people) because that realisation can reshape our approach and as Gogo said the past has a way of speaking in the present...much of that voice says the ANC is the enemy of our people. They robbed them from onset the restoration of their dignity.
    2. How do we disconnect the overall struggle to demi gods and make it more aligned to overall black interests. Much of the vocab built around discussions of how we take democracy forward leaves behind crucial aspect such as how do we restore back blacks dignity and move blacks from dependency to creators.
    3. Lastly these factions in the ANC, are they permanent enemies, if RET emerges will the Ramaphosa camp regroup to find their demi god or do you see disgruntled members forming another group that is anti RET. Gogo is right and I can say those dynamics are now showing how spineless ANC members are...only their interests of either leadership or wealth cloud their views.
    Thanks for facilitating this Sizwe, we learn on your streets.

    The problem of the ANC is that they are busy imploding. We already got the likes of Cope and EFG that splitter away from the ANC. Now there's evens more members that it would leave and form a Zuma party and he's son Dudy Zuma. (Son' of Zuma) . The fact that Zuma are so selfish that he's the catalyst that could lead to the fall of power of the ANC does truly show us that he's got no regard no no one but himself. I'm more cross at the ANC for allowing 1 man, 1 man to destroy the legacy of a party that would have gone down in history as the party on which other countries would look up to as the formula for how to govern a country. But now corruption is strongly attached to there name. I know I'm putting it all on Zuma, but in this case everything filters from top to bottom. There's only two leaders that I think can get us on the right track and that is CR and my favourite Dr Naledi Pandor. I hate to say it, but I must, CR needs to make that difficult decision. FW DE klerk did it, he knew by ending apartheid, it would be the en of he's presidency, yet he did it. CR can put an en to corruption, yet I believe it won't be the end of he's term as president.

    Why do you keep referring to him as 'Gogo' & not Mkhulu?

      His guiding spirit is uGogo. See my chat with him from Jan 2020.

    Try to have a look back in time. Way back in time at corruption in the 70's and early 80's. Compare them and now. If it's worst of not as bad. But look at corruption it's self not the apartheids laws. But at individual. We only know of the present yet the individual corruption isn't as well known. Like I said, not the apartheid, coz we all know that was something else on its own.

    Can gogo please profile former ANC presidents starting from OR Tambo to the current president of the ANC, what they stood for and what they have achieved 🙏🙏🙏 because he sometimes references to the ANC before it came into power.

      @@_SMWX please make a plan if he could dedicate an hour per president....... as a young person it would really help me understand South African politics since most people that listen to this show are young people.

    My view the RET will re align and remobilise andregain momentum with the clear evidence lithengisiwe and it will be the renewed Malibuye with Ace as the candidate and it will be the replay of the same JZ for president whilst accusations and court cases will be looming as it's the same strategy played by wmc of character assassins but RET will close the economic power buying and selling of the anc and a possible co coalition with the EFF which seemed impossible
