One note I would add is the average you were showing only takes into account your last 50 miles. So driving a week or two gives you no more data than driving 50 miles. You can change it to 400 miles to make it a better long term average. I don't think that will change your results in this case, just an FYI.

I decided years ago with my 2.7L EB that although you probably do lose a little performance and fuel economy with 87 octane, it's still cheaper in terms of MPD (Miles Per Dollar) than using 92 octane. Although I've leveled my truck, installed wheel spacers and heavy 33's, the biggest factor for me and my lowly 16 MPG is still due to something called... LEAD FOOT! lol! I am curious though about how many more MPG's I'd get with a tuner. With today's democrat gas prices, even a 2 MPG improvement it would pay for itself in a year or two in my case. I drive 600 miles a week.

In my opinion most Americans won't be able to afford an electric vehicle and will still be driving 20 year old gas vehicles. The reason I ask, is im looking to install an HHO generator in my truck and I need to change the Air/Fuel mix to use less fuel since there wil be hydrogen mixed in with the air. I dont want the air flow sensor reading more O2 and start pumping in more gas to fix the issue. I could pop it in behind the sensor, but then its not helping on MPG, because its still using same amount of gas. Makes me wish all cars/trucks still had carbs on them.
