I adore the concept of a movie based on Amanda & Hoffmann’s emotional competition for John. reminds me of the Catra & Adora dynamic where these two characters in She Ra both are initially fighting for the approval of their shared leader

@@jonathanharris5101 His blackmail explains her actions with the doctor in 3, it doesn't really explain the inescapable traps she'd been pulling.
I think Saw XI will take place between Saw II and Saw III & IV (since they both take place at the same time). And I think Saw XII will be a sequel to Saw VII/3D, and officially conclude Hoffman's story once and for all!

Well i just hope we could see logan's appearance and probably dr.gordon as the new jigsaw if possible. I bet saw11 will be the gap between saw 2 to saw3 and possible it will be on amanda vs hoffman. Saw12 however is the conclusion of saw7 and probably connected to jigsaw. Who knows.
Honestly I wanna see Leigh Whannel play Adam again because me personally I do believe he’s alive and it wouldn’t be out of the possibility due to the fact characters deaths have been faked beforehand and when Amanda supposedly suffocates him we never see him fully die so it’s possible John stepped in and it’s possible that the body that everyone thinks is Adams body is actually Taps body and notice how in the different movies John has pictures of his victims and do u actually believe John a cancer patient had time to take photos of his victims. Think about it who else is a private photographer that follows people around?
I think 11 and 12 will focus on two things [possibly 1 per film,]:
1) Amanda's self harm, the thing that lands her in the house in Saw 2 [unless they reveal that it was just a cover story to have her in place to keep an eye on the detective's Son and to try to get the other victims to stick to the rules.... which she totally fails at.... and could be the actual trigger for her self harm in Saw 3.]
2) The inescapable traps of Saw 3. It never made sense to me how those traps existed in the first place when, presumably, John would have had to be the one designing them. You can explain the chains trap as Amanda adding an extra one to the design without telling John [the jaw ring] and welding the door closed after he left, but the angel trap makes no sense as there doesn't seem to be any way the trap could have been implemented in a survivable way, at best it could have been modified to have the key disable the timer, but that would still leave the victim to die of thirst cause they'd still be trapped with it hooked into their ribs unable to get out of it.]
If we're lucky though, 11 will end with Dr Gordon being teased and he will be the focus of 12.
I think the saw series could really benefit from a tv show something like true detectives but in saw, maybe be call it the cult of saw and explore that aspect
I could definitely see that working. It worked for Child’s Play when they made the Chucky show, so as long as they were to do it right it could be pretty good!
I think that would dilute the saw charm. Especially considering how practical the effects are, that might be difficult and expensive to do on a serial.
I saw my art and i was confused for a second
imo one of the best things about Saw X is that they can do justice to a really interesting dynamic that they set up for Amanda *after* her death in the series, where she was indirectly responsible for Jill Tuck's miscarriage and the loss of John's son. Saw X got in a few little lines here and there that hit very different in that light, and I think it could work really well for if they were to show that dynamic playing out.
And even if John found this out I think he would’ve forgiven her, John was big on forgiveness. Jeff’s test for example.

As long as we have the big three, John, Amanda and Hoffman that’s all we need. Great writing, the three of them interacting more and more backstory to Hoffman. I hope Amanda is still alive in the present timeline somehow. I feel like we never got confirmation or emphasis on her death afterwards.

Oh god, I don't want to sound overly morbid, but Tobin Bell is 81, I don't know how much longer the series has in it. And we don't want Tobinless Saw.
I agree. It’s sad, but Tobin isn’t young. They’ll never stop making Saw movies though. Even after the series is WAY past its prime (which was a many years ago now) they’ll keep making them. As long as they make money. If they’re really greedy, they’ll even recast John Kramer. They’ll never stop and realize that they’re going way too far and destroying this franchise. Saw X was good, but how many more Spiral-like movies are they going to make before they realize they killed it?

i feel there is some symmetry with the fact that the last time we saw hoffman was in the bathroom just like were he was left i think its a clue

I would like both SAW XI & SAW XII to be set between SAW II & SAW III/SAW IV.
I actually don't care too much to find out what happens after SAW 3D.
Happy to stay in the time when Jigsaw and Amanda are still alive. Killing them off was actually a mistake for the franchise. The prequel revival is exactly what this franchise needed. Im shocked they didnt do this sooner
Dont get me wrong SAW IV, SAW V & SAW VI had their moments. Especially the flashbacks
But SAW was at its greatest when Jigsaw (and Amanda) was in it. SAW IV, V & VI were most interesting when there were flashbacks involving them. Not that Hoffman isnt interesting. But in the present time of IV/V/VI - he didn't really have anyone to interact with outside the flashbacks with Jigsaw and Amanda. We need that intrigue as full-fledged movies not just mere flashbacks

it's already confirmed Saw 11 is a Hoffman story and continue with a similar timeline to Saw 10 (which I am assuming why he's only in the post credit scene of Saw 10 and the brief mentioning of 'detective' in the film')...Saw 12 will be a sequel to Saw 7. The Hoffman story will probably include Amanda a lot along with John Kramer (they are going to milk Tobin Bell as long as he's able to perform). Amanda has been given plenty of backstory in previous Saw films so I personally don't care if they try and do more with her backstory as it will probably only convolute anything that has been established with her in other Saw films. Hoffman however has a little more backstory that could be added though they tried to give him some backstory in previous films. But there's so much they could with him as he first arrived in Saw 3 as a minor character. Since he's the police he has many connections to all law enforcement that was introduced and could tie him into the very beginning ( I am disregarding 'Jigsaw' and also 'Spiral' has nothing to do with this franchise). The problem would be getting people like Donnie Whalberg, Cary Elwes, Scott Patterson back for many reasons and Elwes would be a big part of Saw 12 since it's a sequel to 7
We know Saw 11 will be Amanda vs Hoffman. We know this. Saw 12 just better NOT be a fucking prequel, 2 is enough. Saw WILL lose revenue if they continue down the prequel line for 3+ films. There's also the grim possibility of a Saw reboot, Saw multiverse and Femsaw where John will be replace by Joan/Joanna Kramer, first to call this IF it happens.
That said, I have nothing to disprove any theories, I still think the Adam being alive therory is complete and absolute bullshit, even having heard the lengths people will go to justify this crap; if it happens, its ONLY because fans wanted it to, just like we got the Dr Gordon reveal at the end of Saw 7, they do NOT and have never planned this, just gave into demands.

Saw 11 will humnaize Detective Hoffman. He didn't even start killing till his sister died & that guy brutally killed his sister. He then kills a junkie for trying to kill a cop not long after. He was depressed & drinking & all he wanted to do was finish John work so he could be done. It makes sense why he is so brutal he watched the legal system fail for 20 years & evetually it ended his family. He then decides when the legal system fails he'd stepped in.
I would like it if the humanize him. I mean as awesome as he is, he’s a pretty one dimensional villain. I hope they dive a bit deeper in his character in Saw 11
@@lorenzo_smit I believe characters like Hoffman and Ozai aren't one dimensional it's just their characterization isn't explicitly shown & it's more so inferred and shown through how they interact in their worlds. Ozai was clearly the Zuko the of his generation if you paid attention difference is he internalized the self-hatred & took it on the world. Now back to Hoffman his origin is extremely similar to John. Mostly good person until the death of a family member. Only he doesn't come to the same conclusion as John. As a cop for w0 years he's prolly seen the same guys for years & tons of corruption and now it's finally affected him personally. So the people he kills are scum in his mind & nothing more than dead weight in society that cause harm. It seems he has some level of respect for John even though he doesn't agree with his methods. He does show curiosity cuz he does ask surviving victims if it worked or not.
I have a feeling that they might bring back Adam Faulkner-Stanheight, our photographer from the first movie. Yes, I know that canonically he's dead, but there's proof that his death was faked. If you know MatPat, you know he has a point. I hope the dude returns, maybe even revealing he was alive the whole time and was in fact a secret accomplice for John the whole time.

The last profile picture didn’t really reflect the new era of the channel. I made it back when I still did gaming content, but now that the channel has changed its direction, a new profile picture was needed to reflect that. You can still see the old profile pic on RemGamesLive and on Twitch though!

But the eye vacume trap that was featured all over the marketing was just a dream sequences and that annoyed the hell out of me cuz its what they used as the main attraction in the promos
Interesting. I enjoyed it because I didn’t consider it to be a dream sequence. I thought of it as a look inside John’s head for how he creates his traps and makes them personal, and him intervening on the theft made the trap unnecessary anymore, hence it never happening. I though of it as a “What If” instead of a dream sequence, but I can definitely see how someone would get annoyed by that
@@RemGames I thought it would been cool if after the credits you actually get to see the aftermath of that trap and it's revealed that John did make it maybe not with the thief but that he eventually did build it and use it

Obviously this is not going to happen, but I would like an all-media ban on using dream sequences in marketing unless they're going to be, like, the entire point of the movie. Horror is particularly guilty of this, imo.
The eye vacuum trap was an easy choice for marketing because it's a very aesthetically appealing trap, and the eye tubes cross each other like an X.

Yeah, it’s pretty good. It’s up there with the first 3 Saw movies. You honestly don’t need to watch 8 & 9 before Saw X.
