  • We decided to ls swap our jet boat and take it to the lake this past weekend the engine mounts where already in and headers were finished but we yanked the built engine for a junkyard 5.3 that was complete.
    Headers were built by Danny Giannini @dgiannini dgiannini?...

    Great looking boat! Love that exhaust as well! We hope to LS swap a jet boat but so far we are enjoying the 460 and 454 big blocks!

    Awesome build! What impeller size are you turning in the jet pump?

    I agree with Ryan Nolan, that paint job is awesome! Also, the 8 into 1 header looks sick as hell! I've been bitten by the boat bug recently, want to get something to go fast. I'm torn between fiberglass for the lake or an aluminum jet boat for the river. Aluminum is a lot more money, can take more punishment and perhaps more fun but fiberglass is much cheaper, smoother and faster. I'd do both if I could afford it but it'll have to be one or the other. What do you think?

      Get a fiberglass one for cheap and see how you like it! You can always sell it for more if you put some work into it

      @@DIRTCINEMA I appreciate your reply and opinion. I was/am of the opinion that fiberglass is the way to go as well. Definitely more of them out there making it more likely I'll find one that fits my taste and idea of what the "ideal" (speed) boat looks like/is configured. There are plenty of possibilities on Facebook Marketplace near me. (I just REALLY need to finish a couple other projects first before I start another. Does that sound familiar to anyone?)

    Just a quick thought. Wouldn’t you want to run your fuel system (pump-fuel rail-pressure regulator- then return it) to make sure rail has constant pressure at all of the injectors instead of dead heading it?

      @DIRTCINEMA  Před 3 lety +1

      We ran the system the first the old fuel pump was bad. We uncapped the fuel rail to make sure it was getting fuel I know it's not the best way but it worked lol

      Right on, hopefully see you out on the water sometime! Couldn’t miss those headers if tried

      My ls1 has a returnless fuel setup (not ideal) and I mad 398whp on stock injectors.
