How to Glitter an Acrylic Blank

  • These are super cute as keychains, ornaments for the tree or just decorations for your house.
    here is what you will need:
    Blanks (I got from DesignBlanks.ca (affiliate link)) buy here: bit.ly/2kyx3Q4
    Glitter (I got from DesignBlanks.ca (affiliate link)) buy here: bit.ly/2lACLkB
    Mod Podge (I use the dishwasher safe, whatever works from Michaels)
    Dimentional magic Mod Podge from Michaels or Walmart
    Ornament hooks from a dollarstore
    Key chains (I got mine from DesignBlanks.ca) buy here: bit.ly/2FyFbZr

    Love this video. I like how you said to "dab" the mod podge, it makes so much sense to eliminate raised streaks of mod podge. Very easy to follow tutorial. Great idea using mason jars to store your glitter!!

      Haha It took me a while to build up to it but I buy it all from designblanks.ca I find thats the best deal for the quantity

    You can use epoxy to seal the glitter and vinyl. It leaves a smooth glass like surface.

    What are the advantages or any preferences between using mod podge vs. epoxy? I know some of it is preference, is it also longevity or scratch resistance, etc.? Thank you for your time. Jerri

      Windmill Apparel & Promotions I have not yet tried the epoxy method yet as it is new to me but I will be doing a video doing epoxy shortly. I think longevity you ate better off with the epoxy as it creates a full coating over the blank instead of just a seal
