For real, I understand why he is allowed but I really wish he wouldn't have done it. They should have retired his number like they do in most of the other sports.
@@Trave1s_with_Chris if nascar kept retiring historic numbers like the 43, 3, 24 or 48 then we'd run out of numbers, as nascar numbers must only be between 00 - 99. cant do 100 or higher. blah blah blah legacy and all that but retiring numbers is generally not a good idea.

The speed really doesn't matter, it only matters relative to the other teams pit stops.

@@alecjones4135 While F1 started in Europe and the majority of the teams are based in Italy, Germany and the UK, it is a worldwide championship with more than half the races taking place outside Europe (North & South America, Asia, Australia). Plus, the drivers are from all over the world, unlike in NASCAR's case where all the races happen in the US and almost every driver is American.

Watch F1 and see your expectations become reality. Red Bull pulled off a 1.8 second pit stop all 4 wheel change this year.

Brendan Ross If theyâre old enough, restrictor plates making all the cars perform much more similar to each other. If theyâre really old, they may have seen proper stock car racing with cars that were pretty similar to what youâd see on the road. Alongside, other changes in rules/ car specs have wrung a lot of the fun out of the sport. I wonât say the skill level is lower, but I will say the skill has shifted towards a different direction

The pit crew seemed pretty slow but maybe it's just because of testing of those new cars, it's not a real race obviously, so they didn't give all the bestđ€·đż
It will also get used to adjusting to a single pre-installed lug nut.
The fuel is the slowest now. Doesnât matter how long it takes if youâll still be waiting on fueling âœïžâœïž

Batteries are not as reliable as pneumatic pressure, which is constant. That, and regulatory standards would have to change to include battery wattage, amperage hours, output, gun speed, etc. Just an overhaul for something thatâs already tried and true.
It would be ideal, however there is the safety of the batteries in that environment.
