I'm not a real Madrid supporter.. but people must understand that you cannot win a big tournament without being extremely talented and extremely hard-working. Just because you don't attack it doesn't mean you played poorly. A team is 11+subs.. and each of them is there to contribute to the team. If someone says "they didn't deserve to win, courtois saved them", then it means they don't even understand what a team means..
Good team but just a very harsh reality that without the Gk they lose by a big margin. Doesnât make them any less great just the truth. If they had conceded, they would have replaced Kroos and Casemiro with Rodrygo and Camaving and played a high press attacking football, and went for a kill. And their previous performances suggest that it would have rattled the tired opponent. The only reason Kroos stayed on the pitch was that Madrid was leading. The low block was by design.

Yeah, it's slightly easier to win the champions league when you don't necessarily have much competition in your own league. Real Madrid had zero competition this season in La liga. They had 4 weeks to work on tactics for Liverpool. On another day, Liverpool would be sitting there with at least a 3-1 win and people would be saying something different.
By the way, I'm not hating on La liga. I do feel they had better top teams. When Barcelona were in their pomp they were probably the best team the world has seen. Also Madrid didn't win all these champions leagues just by luck. They have over the years had dubious decisions however, that comes when you're a massive club. Last season when we were looking for managers, some journalists reported Wenger is being contacted by Flo but he doesnt want to manage anymore. That was sad tbh bcz I really wanted him at Madrid then the rumor of Don Carlo came up and I got excited once again! Because this is the man who brought us La Decima after 12 long years!! And I still feel we should have been patient with him after his trophyless season. we lost the league by 2 points and played UCL semifinals! Madrid demonstrated a superb management of both pace and pressure throughout the whole Champion's run. Attributing their success to luck is simply not understanding the game.
What Madrid did requires high level football, high level mental fortitude and a great understanding of their opponents and own strengths. You can't get lucky that many times against that many great clubs.

Real Madrid had a once in a lifetime 'magical year'. They were not the better team in either the PSG or Man City or Liverpool series. They scored sometimes in a 'miracle fashion' after being inferior on the pitch for most of the game and somehow won the UCL title. Don't confuse scoring more with being a better team on the pitch. The two are mutually exclusive. Often times the better team loses. It happens all the time in all sports. (Ie. Uruguay defeats Brazil in Brazil in the 1950 World Cup final, US Hockey team defeats the Russians in the 1980 Gold medal game, plus many more examples). That being said, congratulations to 'Los Blancos'. They proved they had more 'magic' and determination than everyone else.

Courtois saved them ? Isnât Courtois part of the team? So Alaba , Militao, carvajal, Casemiro , Mendy , Vini etc didnât save them ? Yâall English pundits should just respect and recognize a true champion. You know what I think - some of these pundits just donât get why âReal Madridâ beat all the top teams in the English premiership.
