Abseiling Tower at former Twenthe Air Base, The Netherlands

One day, the sports instructors from Twenthe Air Base came to the control tower and asked us if, as part of our compulsory sports hours, we would like to go abseiling from the Tower. There was an exuberant "YES" response. After asking around among the not immediately necessary staff whether there were more candidates, we reported to the tower's perimeter walkway. With a select few, we then plunged into the deep end! This is a brief impression of that day.
