Polygamy was legal & a religious right, thus the Constitutional right, back in Kody Brown's day. The only state in America, where polygamy was allowed.....the Mormons of Utah. History lesson...lol. It is no longer allowed morally, legally, or Constitutionally, nowadays, in any state. The Supreme Court overturned Mormon's argument, saying polygamy was a form of defrauding taxpayer's, as most polygamists lived off welfare with multiple dependents. So, polygamy is no longer allowed ANYWHERE....unless you live with a cannibalistic tribe in South America.
