  • Ozzy Osbourne, David Harewood, and Jamelia are just some of the famous names hailing from Birmingham. But it's also the place which is repeatedly voted to have the worst accent in the UK, and according to government statistics into local deprivation, 41% of neighborhoods in Birmingham are among the most deprived 10% in England. Now one journalist is calling for people to stop making Birmingham the butt of classist jokes. But is it just a bit of fun or are we giving the city an unfair name? Humorist Shazia Mirza and Broadcaster Adrian Chiles both share their stand on the subject.
