    I did my first Italki Korean conversation lesson today, so I've just realized that I actually say "I think ..." quite a lot. It feels like every time I encounter a new grammar structure, Billy already has a great video on it. Thank you! 빌리가 제일 좋은 한국어 선생님이라고 생각해요.

    *Haha! Wow, you just called us out for liking BTS, then laughed. You do know your demographic well!*
    Also excellent lesson! Walked away feeling fluent, which I certainly am not, but this will defiantly be a big part of my Korean vocabulary 'cause I think a lot ;)

    Is there not a way to turn 것 같다 into future by putting ㄹ/을 after the verb? 어려울 것 같아요 I think it will be difficult? Or am I just making a mistake that someone told me

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  Před 5 lety +7

      You can absolutely do that. The main idea is that you take an Adjective (made with any verb - descriptive or action) and attach it before 것 같다 and conjugate it. Adjectives in the future tense count too.

    I should trust my instincts more. On 5:24 i tried to form the sentence myself. I know that they use 인 when referring to a citizsn or someone that is from somewhere. But my brain was insisting on using 있는 even though it sounded wrong lol. And then i gave up and saw your answer

    Okay so if I was playing a game with my friends and I think I know the right answer. Can I say:
    5번이 정답 인 것 같아.
    or
    5번이 정답이라고 생각해!
    Does the second option give the vibe of being more confident or certain ?? Or does it just give the vibe of "well my thought is that it's number 5"

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  Před 3 lety +1

      Both! The first is much more common in speaking, and the second in writing. But both are fine.

    This has to do with the previous video, but can't you also use 바라다 as a way to say "I hope"/"I wish"? I'm guessing it's less common than 았/었으면 좋겠다 since I haven't seen many sources explaining it.

    Hi teacher...
    I have a question 😊
    What is the different between 을 것 같아요 to 는 것 같아요?

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  Před 3 lety +1

      The difference is tense. Future tense and present tense. Also ~는 will only be with present tense action verbs. I have videos on my channel about how to conjugate action verbs and descriptive verbs into adjectives like that.

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  Před 3 lety +1

      The verb you're looking for is 좋아하다, which can negate regularly. Unless you were trying to ask something else.
