To me gas has more consistent power but I went the inexpensive way with a traxxas slash 2wd and I love it
Electric has more consistent power actually. I prefer electric rc cars wayyyyy more than gas

Gentlemen…you MUST use the exact same vehicles. There’s no way electric doesn’t kick nitro every time if running on the same platform & tires. Gas powered is so 20th century & who wants to deal with the noise , fumes & maintenance of those dinosaurs!

Hi I like your video I would ask you about rc car which one I chose to buy electric or gas which one you suggest me and what different actually I like losi 5t 2.0 gasoline if you know about that but I need idea from you hope you will do best for me thanks
If it’s your first hobby grade rc car I recommend get electric simply because they’re soooo much easier and way less maintenance. Also they’re faster. But the noise of gas rc cars is also really cool

Not exactly. Electric requires lipos and expensive lipo chargers. Gas requires pump gas and oil so over the life of the vehicle I bet it's closer than you think

@@thelag1200 there is not a single gas powered car that can compete with an electric bashing and racing look up videos there is a reason electric has taken over. You go to hobby stores and 70% of there stock is electric
if no gas can complete with electric why are gas cars in vast majority in real life? Also, gas cars are far more durable as they are built with lot thicker material. They can also be run for a LOT longer than electric because you can top up the tank and go. They generally can clear obstacles easily compared to an electronic because they are a lot larger. Also, for what they are they are quite cheap
not to mention one tank lasts 50 mins while your lucky if you can get 20 off a lipo

That’s a great suggestion for next time. I don’t own a dbxle and this was totally for fun. I’m thinking about doing it again but adding weight to the kraton to make them weigh the same! 😁

This has got to be the most unscientific demonstration ever. Thumbs down. What kind of drag involves a curve? You're using telemetry, so the only thing that should count is straight line speed to the finish. If you don't have the 265 feet of room for the 1/5 scale dragstrip, then you run it at a shorter distance. Putting a curve into a dragstrip is shitty Nascar, not NHRA. What kind of buffoon puts a curve on a dragstrip? Then the tug of war when the electric driver throws the race by turning their wheels constantly causing them to lose any chance for grip. Also, knobby tires vs all-terrain? This is as staged as it gets.
