As an American I feel shame and disappointment in my fellow American's.
My solute to you. Dimash doesn't need the 'World Best' - he was already the best on earth! That rude judge was angry because he lost the chance to be able to boast that Dimash was a winner of their show.
I can't believe the STUPIDITY of all involved with the "world's best" competition to put children to compete with ADULTS!! Kudos to DIMASH and shame on all who entertained the idea that his move was generated by a fear of losing to any of the children. How truly IGNORANT they are, totally UNFIT to judge anyone!!!

Dimash is an absolute gentleman and James Corbin knows that. One of the young artists performing was Daneliya tuleshova who is from his country. I believe that was his main reason for leaving. What a nice person!

Dimash had asked before the contract was signed if he would compete against children..in his culture it is important to elevate children, not bring them down. He was not told either that his performances would be edited.
I couldn’t agree more. They disrespected Dimash especially Ru Paul. It’s so bad that they butchered Dimash’s performances and cut out parts of the talking to make Dimash look bad. It’s a shame. But karma did it’s job and it was the end of this show, no second season for it. Dimash is a real man with a heart of gold and a great character.
No James did not say anything bad at all but he also never invited Dimash on his show even though we requested it so so many times. He seemed to really really like Dimash. We were all hoping at least he would invite him onto his show. Dimash was so much the bigger person. He handled it with so much class and held true to the way he was taught. Ru Paul was the worst. They assured him he would not be competing against children and that is against his cultural beliefs. So much respect for him. Their actions cost them their show.
Anyone with morals that has a doctorate in their field, whatever it is, would NEVER compete against a child.
The reason Rup was so upset, he/she because she/he was disappointed that Dimash was leaving. He/she was looking forward to seeing more of Dimash. Just sayin.
The judges are CRAZY. They show no respect. Dimash is a foreign visitor. That alone they should appreciate for participating in their show.
I understand what Faith Hill was saying. She felt like one of those kids sharing the stage with stars like Whitney and Adele. She felt them to be much bigger than she and yet she felt it would be unprofessional to back out of any commitments. That was not the situation here though. Dimash specifically agreed to do the show as long that there were no children to compete against. They assured him that it would not be so. Rupaul was wrong to argue that Dimash knew what he was getting into. The producers lied to Dimash and let him sign knowing that children could and would compete. They in a sense tried to trap Dimash hoping it would be awkward for Dimash to back out or that the prospect of the greed to win would override any principles Dimash might have. What they failed to realize at the time is that Dimash is a man of tradition and principles. He stuck to those principles and did the right thing. I like that he did it publicly.
Well, of course he doesn't need the show, the show needed him for views. And I don't think they really believed what they said, they did it for views one more time before him leaving. But that's low, to sacrifice your image and everything for views, so you need to bear the consequences. If this was the case, I hope they apologised afterwards, at least.
I think it was hard for him to comprehend the reactions initially, as his gesture seemed totally normal to him. You're talking to Dimash, people. He doesn't need your cheap show. They are not qualified enough to judge such a voice anyway. No wonder it stopped after a season.
I think this experience got him a better understanding of the industry, and I'm glad he's as independent as he can.

Your so correct, there’s a big difference competing against adults and against children. Of course they didn’t state the truth and edited out what Dimash said. So shameful and rude. They never realized Dimash has much more class then they ever will!!!!!
Hi Liam- just a little add up to that. That video they released was cut. After Rupaul said about “you knew what you’re getting into”. Dimash a actually responded “Let me respectfully remind you that my pre-condition in accepting the offer to compete was to make sure I wasn’t competing to any kids and I was assured no kids in the competition.”- something like that. There were 2 audience who made a video to divulge the anomaly on this show. Dimash only knew there were kids because he bumped Daneliya Tuleshova outside- a competitor, also from Kazakh and is a beneficiary for Dimash’s program for young singers. It is also said that they were not allowed to watch their competitors’ performance. In short, they lied to him. They were also disrespecful in cutting his perforamances esp. his Kazakh songs.

Faith Hill doesn't even make sense with her statement and the only thing RuPaul is fit to judge is other drag queens...at least Drew had enough sense to keep quiet...thankfully this show never had a 2nd season!!! Also he was lied to about competing with children...as per with most of these shows they cut his performances and the final discussion!!
In this competition there was a prodigy girl from the same country as Dimash: Daneliya Tuleshova and it was in her favor that he gave up competing. Unfortunately she didn't win the competition, despite being another extraordinary talent from Kazakhstan as well.
Thank you. Dimash absolutely adores children and supports and encourages to follow their musical dreams. He even established an international children’s singing competition in Kazakhstan. He has met and encouraged several outstanding children singers, including his compatriot Daneliya Tuleshova, who turned out to be one of the competitors who made it to the semifinals. When he was first invited to join the competition, Dimash specifically asked whether competitors would include children, specifying that he did not compete against children. They told him no. Then, all competitors were strictly sequestered in the initial “auditions”, so they never met one another. The next level was putting two contestants against each other, so they only “met” right before going on stage. The semifinals pitted the three top scorers in each of four categories. That’s when Dimash met backstage Daneliya and the little Indian pianist. He felt very uncomfortable about the situation especially since the kids looked up to him and were awed at meeting him! So he asked his father whether he would be very disappointed if Dimash left the competition? His father said he would support whatever decision he made. So Dimash announced it. That was one million dollars he gave up. And by the way, the judges in general were leaning toward adults anyway. In the group singing category, there were tge TNT boys from the Philippines who were an internet sensation, but lost to an adult group who wasn’t specially good. One of the judges explained his choice by stating that adults trump children any day.
So much respect for this man!! He did not want to break the kids heart, he lives his life with no regrets...he was not going to feel happy winning the show against kids. Plus he did not need this show, the show needed him for the views, I truly think they used him. This was the first and only time for this show, no more worlds best ever! Dimash did the right thing!!!
Dimash is an incredible human being. He put his own crown on kids heads. He knows that no one can compete with 6 octaves man. You are killed before even go on stage. And that's unrespectful to put kids on the level of adults. He just slap the jury and he throw in their faces their 1 million dollars.

In Kazakh culture adults don't compete against children and he asked before signing contract for show if he would be against children they lied to him and said he wasn't when he found out he quit with more class and dignity than all those judges put together

The World's best show premiered in the US on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb 3, 2019. I believe, however, the recordings were actually done in October 2018. All the participants gave full performances before the show, cut, edited and manipulated content for public viewing. Also, I believe because of this, hundreds of thousands of viewers who didn't know Dimash formed negative opinions about why Dimash quit. Dimash dears know the truth. I, for one, was and still am, so honored to be a dear.

Happy this show bit the dust, Rude Paul is upset he got called out for lying in order to get Dimash to join the competition, Dimash has a level of ethics that Rude Paul is incapable of understanding. I admire Dimash for standing by what he knew was right.

One of kids, Danailia (11) is from his own country and Dimash was a mentor to her and was judge in one of kids competition in Kazakhstan where she was competing . He signed contract in with the condition that he would not compete against kids but during filming he ran into Danailia and realise the truth and decides to opt out. The format of show was weird, as they didn't allowed the contestants to meet each other, as they were given time slot to come perform and leave. Weird
Dear Liam, I totally agree with you, Dimash does NOT need that Show at all, in fact, Dimash is the World's Best Singer before that Show existed. I heard people were saying the Show invited Dimash just for its ratings, i.e. to attract more people around the World to watch the Show, as they knew the MASSIVE FUNBASE of Dimash Worldwide! Dimash's parents and grandparents seem to have done a good job of raising him. Manners, politeness, kindness, selflessness are qualities. Dimash gave up a million dollar prize by withdrawing. (Not chump change)

This is the moment where Dimash once and for all really proved that he is The World's Best. No doubt that he's the best singer but this was proof that he got the best personality as well. His values, his ability to be a good role model, his sincerity and dignity is something we all can learn from. Dimash could walk out of this competition with his head held high.
I know that after this TWB Dimash decided to participate in no other competition! I believe he doesn't need to. He is too good for such kind of a show!

You're absolutely right for example if you watch ufc no featherweight champion would vs a heavyweight champion it has to be on the the same weight level.
Of course they did not show the part where Dimash explained to them he was lied to when he asked if he would compete against children because he knew he would blow them out of the water with his talent and in his culture adults don't compete against children. They also kept the contestants sequestered from each other and it was by chance he saw the young girl from his country behind the scenes and he knew then he had been lied to.

The moment that Ru Paul lost ALL OF MY RESPECT AND SUPPORT and James Corden managed to actually gain some back! And I was honestly super disappointed in Drew for not speaking up and just nodding along with everyone. That face that Dimash makes looks like so much confusion and not being able to understand the anger toward him. This moment in time makes me feel so embarrassed as an American; how shallow and petty we must seem to him because of this! Our values are so messed up compared to a large part of the world! It's disgusting.

Here are my 5 Personal and Possible Opinions Why Dimash Quits on the 2019 World Best Talents Presentation:
1. lf Dimash quits because he think and favored first the children contenders before himself, then, I think he is so kind and humble for that,
and indeed a great value for us to reflect on.
2. Probably there is something that conflict his own values as an artists.
3. If he quits to pursue the higher good and to follow the truth which is dear to his heart, then it’s a Holy and Noble Purpose.
4. Along the course of artist’s journey towards life, whenever they perform some spiritual inspiration that might happen in themselves, and
with that, only God and the concern individual knows, and I believe that, that is a sacred space that we need to respect to.
5. We have to remember that happiness does not only consists on the many awards that we received in life, particularly in our professional
fields, or in power, or in money, or on peoples applause to us that we are the best etc, but you know, our hearts longs for a deeper meaning
and value of which the world cannot give. It could be, to be of service to people with joy and honesty, to pursue the holy will and endeavor
of God in our life , or the joy and satisfaction to share the talents and gifts we had to others, or love and concerns for the common good or
service to the country.
If ever these opinions of mine are true, then, it is revealed from before our eyes and to the world, the identity of a credible artist for us to admire: Dimash goodness and humble of heart and the beauty of his soul.

In fact, and that was said by 2 members of the audience, this announcement was made BEFORE he went on stage. Not only that, the whole segment was cut off. He said to the judges: I asked if there would be children in the competition before I signed for it. I wasked that question.
In Dimash's culture, they are taught that, as adults, they have to elevate children, encourage them, guide them, and is kind of forbidden to compete against them when you're an adult.
I don't mean any disrespect to RuPaul, he may be really good on his job, but what he said to Dimash is just, and I quote him, 'BS'.

One of the kids he stepped out for was Daneliya Tuleshova who Dimash knows from his home country. No matter how bad you believe they treated Dimash his performances in that show are worth a look at and also Daneliya's performances. Yeah the performances had to take place in the time limits that all the contestants had to abide by (like most of these talent shows) but don't let that stop you from seeing them. All were amazing and Dimash would have surely won that show had he stayed.
He asked before he entered if he was to compete against kids, and they said no..... then he finds out the truth and decided to back out...

Not everything is always as it seems.
First. He was invited to compete there.
Secondly. Before agreeing, he asked is it a children's competition?
Answer - No. LYED TO HIM. This was very humble and arrogant behavior by the organizers.
Thirdly. You have come from very far away, with certain hopes and standing in front of the fact you were trying to avoid.
What to do ? Of course, it was not possible to refuse the competition immediately. There is a big team behind him.
Dimash is very responsible and does not have to feel bad in a situation created by others.
He have big Heart in the right place and menly behavior.
Fourthly, as a result, he never decided to take part in any competition again. He's still receiving invitations.
He chose his way and as we can see it quickly goes to heights.

James Cordon may have wanted Dimash on his show, could be Dimash was very busy and then the covid thing came along which put a damper on everything. Let's see what happens when covid goes away and then put out requests to James.
You are correct about the UFC fighter, they had a lot of strange people as the judges since they had a wide variety of acts they invited to audition they wanted to have an "expert" to make comments but the way the show was edited the majority of the show was just Drew, Ru and Faith talking their nonsense in between the acts -_- this was the first and last season of this flop of a show. I have a theory that they made this show to try to find a star who was known around the world, just not the USA. They would have this person win the show and then they could claim to be the ones who discovered said talent and makes their $$$$ from the contract they have to sign before joining the show. I believe Dimash was their target from the start, he fits the criteria perfectly however they didn't take into account that Dimash is a very moral person. He will not budge from his beliefs and can not be bought. And since he quit the show none of their plans worked out.

Imagine he goes to his country and kids are waiting for him to welcome him and he returns after beatng a kid how would he feels, role model after taking a kid's opportunity. The funny thing of this show Ru Paul telling Dimash after a performance, you got to do this and that if you want to win, Ru Paul giving him singing advice. Since when has Ru Paul had the talent to sing more less when has he ever sang a song like the love of tured swans. Lol!! The ego of the guy.
